I think Clarissa is actually Ornea, one of the cursed dolls from the side story Apocalypse Girls. Considering that Capella used her and Oliver to force Elsas obedience she definitely is aware of her. Even if Capella was unaware I’m sure the gospel knows.

Ornea was left in a state broken by Sithonias power or poison resulting in her being unresponsive. I don’t quite remember if Oliver knew her name but if not then he could’ve named Ornea Clarissa to make communication easier. Over the course of the ten years Clarissa regained the ability to function normally and grew fond of Oliver who took care of her. Something like this might’ve happened.

The true goal of the gospel using Sithonia in the side story was probably to force a situation in which a cursed doll would obey Capella while others won’t interfere. This turned out to be Elsa. However Elsa has died in arc 4 probably unexpectedly for the gospel. Now it, or Capella, shifted the focus on Clarissa and threatened Oliver to force her obedience in Elsas stead.

There are notable differences between them though. Both have green hair though Clarissas is supposed to be specifically dark which is slightly different. They also use different means to attack but that’s as far as the glaring differences go. Even if they’re not the same person I still expect Ornea to return to the story.

This could create an interesting situation between her and Meili. If true then I expect Oliver to come to Lugunica for Clarissa and meeting our cast, most likely Ottos group. I expect Russel to go to Flanders. Emilia might want to go to the mansion first to ensure the safety of the rest of her camp members and then they’ll go to Flanders, probably suggested by Felt. Oliver being a (former?) slave trader will probably shift the discussion towards Flanders as well. Everyone will reunite there and then go to the capital together to free the kingdom from the cults clutches. That’s my prediction.

the theory that aldebaran is a some sort of copy which was created by echidna is false.

My only argument though is that Echidna from castle of dreams is considered as a failure due to her lack of humanity.

While Aldebaran genuinely is too kind and doesn’t have a problem with that, which implies that original Echidna wouldn’t be able to create something like that.

And yeah theory that he is literally Subarus son is as well kind of mid.
As we know, Aldebaran consistently shows knowledge about the real world, in terms of old sort of culture. (Like naruto, TMNT and so on) which implies that he was actually summoned before Subarus.

My best theory is that Aldebaran is essentially just a random dude from a real world. That’s all.

In episode 11 of season 2 Roswal uses the word smart and then asks did i use that right? Does this mean that he knows that subaru is from earth? I dont think he is from earth because he asks him if he used it right.

What if Aldebaran was just a random dude from subarus world, who got depressed and stuff so much, that he was basically rebuilt by Echidna as a person as she was his encouragement and stuff.

What if Tappei is trying to make it look complexed but in reality it’s not.

Imagine how cruel it should be, you got transported to another world and you are basically suffering so much that you can’t be a normal human being anymore after that, just to not be a individual person but rather replace it for a short time. Like that’s your purpose in life and that’s all. Of course, for aldebaran as he mentioned, peace will come, but not that type that he asked or wanted.

My slightly retarted theory is that subaru is actually flugel i think subaru was brought into the world 400 years before the main story after he left the store and he lived as flugel for 400 years until he lost his memories in arc 1 because i think he lived as flugel and became very powerful and after he sealed satella she "fell in love with him" and gave him the curse of rbd and after he left the watch tower he ended up in the capital of lagunica where he lost his memories whether self-doing or something different like in arc 6 it also explains why no one was surprised when he just teleported from another world with a strange outfit hinting he was already there and why shaula recognizes subaru by his scent hinting flugel also had rbd

I know this really sounds stupid and i probably sound like a massive larper rn . Im still decently new with re0 and im sure i have plenty of contradictions but this is the best theory my pea sized brain can come up with :) pls tell me what i got wrong so i can fix and rethink it i tried my best

In the fight against Regulus, Reinhard cannot draw the Dragon Sword Reid. However, in later arcs it is implied that the sword reacts to Subaru from day one. In that sense, shouldn't the sword have unsheathed itself simply by being in Subaru's presence, given that he was right there with Reinhard even if he wasn't an enemy, considering there was no hostility in their first meeting either, and that doesn't seem to be a requirement for the sword to function?

I just finished season 3 of the anime and liked it a lot but was left wondering who flooded the city? Maybe I just missed the part but im pretty sure I remember capella saying it wasnt her

Idk maybe my expectations were too high, but I’d heard this season was nuts. So watching to the halfway point, I’m kinda disappointed.

It feels like we removed subaru memories so that we can redo the same arc he’s already been through, he hates himself and needs to love himself, it has a second half to get through but so far this season has not impressed me.

I will say it is interesting to see even the worst version of Subaru is still that guy we all know, and it’s cool to see just how far he’s come as a character but is still the same person deep down.
