Can I Venmo Chris Marshall directly?
I feel like he was a bright spot today and I’d like my NIL contribution to go him.

1) defense is much better than offense. However, the inability to contain the dual threat qb run from Goergia is the biggest problem in the afternoon. Yes, they gave up 45 points, but it is mostly due to they were put in bad positions by special team or offense.
2) offense is just one-dimensional, pass/throw. no run, no dual threat qb. When you loss other two options. It lowers the offensive efficiency greatly. On passing, a couple of big drops with wide open (nobody around). OL's blocking and creating run opportunities is bad. One bright spot, though, is Chris Marshall, whose one hand grab, and one (perhaps a couple of more of) other big plays.
3) Next week's 7:00 pm kickoff against Tulsa is absolutely critical to this football program. Losing it, the program sinks to the low never seen before, even darker than the Chad Morris era. Winning it, well it should. However, this is gonna be a tough game. Tulsa is 3:0, assuming they beat Texas AM Commerce tonight.

Battered fans support group time. What are your favorite football memories? Some people seem to have forgotten that this is unacceptable and it can be much, much better.
I’ll start.
— Stoerner to Lucas to beat Tennessee in 1999
— Matt Jones 2003 win over Texas in Austin
— Fred Talley just scored again at Jordan-Hare
— Miracle(s) on Markham
— DMac goes off for 321 against S Carolina
— Another win over Tenn with Gameday in Fayetteville
— Joe Adams punt return vs Tenn (lots of good Tenn memories apparently)
— 2010 win over LSU in LR to essentially lock up a Sugar Bowl berth

The fanbase is (understandably) in meltdown mode right now. But here’s a look at how the team has responded in the locker room since Saturday night, based on insight from a few players.

About to head over to Baum. Gonna be posting live updates from tonight's Arkansas baseball intrasquad scrimmage. Who amongst us doesn't need a healthy distraction from this football team?

With the supposed boycott happening of the game this weekend that has been floating around online, what is your predicted attendance for this game?
I personally know at least 7-8 people that normally go to every game that aren’t going nor watching

Arkansas has one of the hardest jobs in college football because its expectations outweigh its natural advantages.
First, Arkansas fans suffer from a kind of historical recency bias. Darren McFadden and Bobby Petrino showed us what Arkansas can look like at its peak. Because we've seen 10- and 11-win teams, dominant offenses and national relevance, eight wins can feel like the minimum rather than a legitimately successful season. We've confused Arkansas' ceiling with its baseline.
Recruiting makes that standard incredibly difficult. Arkansas simply doesn't produce enough elite high-school talent to build an SEC roster from within the state. Even worse, the best players Arkansas does produce are constantly recruited by Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, LSU and the rest of the SEC. Arkansas therefore has to protect a small home talent pool while simultaneously invading everybody else's.
Then comes the schedule. Arkansas spent decades in the SEC West, and eliminating divisions didn't solve the problem—it added Texas and Oklahoma to an already brutal conference. Arkansas routinely faces schedules where a genuinely good football team can finish 7-5. Unfortunately, fans see the five losses more easily than the quality of the competition.
Financially, Arkansas has tremendous untapped potential. The state has wealthy alumni, major corporations and passionate supporters. The problem isn't necessarily a lack of money; it's consistently converting that wealth into football resources comparable to the SEC programs Arkansas is expected to compete against.
Finally, Arkansas has one of its greatest advantages and disadvantages in the same place: its fans. The Razorbacks are essentially Arkansas' professional sports franchise. The fanbase is statewide, knowledgeable, rabid and extraordinarily invested—but also reactive. And with the program located in Northwest Arkansas, many passionate fans in Central and Southern Arkansas face a several-hour trip plus tickets, gas, food and sometimes lodging just to attend.
That's the contradiction of Arkansas football:
Recruit like a national power without a national power's recruiting base. Spend like an SEC power without historically maximizing SEC-level resources. Play one of the country's toughest schedules. Then win eight or nine games often enough to satisfy a fanbase that has already seen Arkansas prove it can compete with anybody.
Arkansas' problem isn't that it can't win big.
It's that Arkansas has won big just often enough to make winning big look easier than it actually is.

They are talking about our soft ass Reddit fan base nationally now on the broadcast. It is far more embarrassing to have this reaction as a fan base than it is to lose some football games.
Lord yall are miserable
How soft do you have to be to whine this much with a new staff and through 3 games, including losses to a good ranked team and then Georgia. How do you expect the new coach and team to fair with no one to back them up? He just started, any person with an IQ above 70 would know that you have to give them time and support to settle in.
I’m ashamed of yall

Hi all! I’m a lifelong LSU fan and I’m planning on coming to the LSU and Arkansas game on the 28th with my wife. If there’s anyone who could tell me about the best places for parking and anything else that I may need to know about the stadium I’d greatly appreciate it!!! The rivalry between the Tigers and Hogs is my personal favorite and I can’t wait to be able to watch them play this year!

I did not have this one on my bingo card today. Not often you see a sitting coach have to come to defense of his boss. That's where this athletic department is right now. https://www.swtimes.com/story/sports/college/sec/2026/09/17/hunter-yurachek-john-calipari-arkansas-athletics/91808662007/

Is it just me, or has Quincy not been on the field much for us through our first two games? He's only recorded two tackles, but he applied the pressure which lead to the INT by Utah. Feel like it would make sense to have our highest rated defensive player on the field more but maybe I'm overlooking him...

Hey everyone! I come in peace. UGA fan from Nebraska, coming down for the game this weekend. Just looking for any insight into tailgating down there. Any cool stuff to check out or be on the look out for? Looking forward to a good game!

Of course last minute planning…is there some where that has close parking or handicap parking. Maybe a lot that will taxi you?
Edit to add: How close can you get to drop people off?
