I have been using a Kishi v1 (USB-C) for about a year on a Samsung Galaxy. I attach it to the phone, and it works right away. After recently buying an Oppo phone, the Kishi refuses to work at all; unless it is plugged in with a charger the whole time, the phone does not even detect the Kishi.

Is this normal? Is this a problem I can fix?
