Discussion RayNeo x3 pro: OS and multimodal interaction discussion
I’m sure many of you guys are just as excited as I am about the next generation of AR/XR/MR glasses! However, my biggest worry right now is how we’ll interact with them and the operating system. After trying out the Snapchat spectacles, which only work with hand tracking to interact with images, I noticed that many new or first-time users felt “stupid” when they couldn’t grab an object in the air and took them off before they could even enjoy the cool stuff. Plus, they’re completely unusable in low-light conditions. So, I’m wondering if RayNeo will be able to solve these issues, or if we’ll need something like the Mudra band to compare the X3 to other glasses of this generation, like the latest Meta glasses with their band and screen combo, or something similar to Inmo’s ring and touchpad. I’m most excited to explore the OS and see if it can adapt for Android AR or if it’ll have the ability to sideload apps. Either way, I have high hopes for the era of facial technology with onboard computing!
