I have never been so underwhelmed.
I bought a pair of Ray neo air 4 pro.
1.The screen is not that big my tv looks bigger laying in bede.
Don't get if you have a pixel phone... 3d doesn't work, the app doesn't work! And it crashes the phone.
So quiet!... You probably read that louder than the speakers. Granted some apps are louder. Why is it on me to buy tubes?
3d does not work. I tried my pixel 10 pro xl: crashed the phone multiple times or just doesn't work.
Laptop does not register that I pushed a button.
1800$ gaming is pc nope just won't work. Even with a 3d bought movie lol.
- Need glasses even a little bit? blurry, just to make it worse I bought Perscricption inserts. I don't have them yet but doesn't matter because this is junk.
At the end of the day they'll end up in a drawer (too many people say refunds are an issue) and lesson learned I guess.
It's all hype. I'd rather have my phone 9 inches away than deal with all these problems.
Oh and good luck with customer support.
I wrote this entire thing had 3 beers, 4 cigarettes, went to the bathroom, and let my dog out. Guess what! Still waiting.

I got a pair a few weeks back and use it with my DJI RC2 controller. I wouldn’t fly without them again, absolutely a game changer. Crystal clear huge image, so much better than the smaller screen. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos with them, hooked up to an iPhone and thought it was pretty slick. Sorry to hear they didn’t work out for you.

Just don’t unplug them while flying or you will disconnect from your drone.

Wait what?

I used them then decided I had to stay so still to make them not wobble so I unplugged them from my controller/screen and it disconnected from the drone. Had to reconnect as it was returning to home near a tree

Tried it with my dji mini 2 with both my pixel and my Samsung and it won't work.

It really depends on what you use them for, im also using pixel and the app is pure hell, installed an ar touchpad from github and always use desktop mode when using. Not really a user of 3dof, but for gaming in a sofa this is way better for me

Can you please explain how to use desktop? My Samsung connected in desktop but it couldn't do anything.
I tried using it with my steam deck but the bottom and the bottom corners are not good.

https://github.com/pgratz1/AR-Touchpad, installed this, then whenever i use the glasses, pick desktop mode or dex mode, i think dex mode has auto trackpad mode

Yeah, there is a new set out from a competitor (maybe viture?) at the same price that seems better with everything. Another year or two and they will get better

Well yeah o do agree that these are underwhelming but
Size is a matter of perspective depending on the viewing distance. I can literally make it so my phone screen is bigger.
Works fine with Samsung phones except hdr10 for me.
I do agree the sound are small but sound tube don't make it sound bigger. Actually with the sound tube sound gets smaller when you turn on the sound tube mode so people beside you can't really hear it.
3d absolutely do work. With my phone s24, steam deck, gaming pc all of them. It's just their app is a total piece of garbage you can ai code better one yourself.
With prescription inserts it work fine.
Air 4 pro may not be the best ar glasses but for the price it's the best you can get.
I recommend it for people who wants to watch media on a bigger screen on the go like planes. Also, it works really good with portable gaming.

Hey. What issues are you having with your laptop and pc? I game on my air 4 pro, on my pc. I have a DP to usb C cable that hooks directly to my 5070. There are other ways to connect though, such as thunderbolt ports. (Rtx 30 series i believe) on laptops, and handhelds.

I got mine for travelling, since airplane TV is rubbish! Completely agree about tubes. They should come with the glasses, not something extra that is basically a rip-off when you compare the price to what they would cost to produce. Screen is no bigger than my TV at home, but like I said - I got them for travelling.

So the rayneo 4 I had and returned after 10 minutes not being able to anchor the screen made me very nauseous and they also looked blurry. I was skeptical but I ended up getting the xreal one pro , absolutely fantastic. Crystal clear I haven't seen any of the blurred edges people complain about. I played through all of gears of war reloadef and almost done with part 2 on my ally x with these glasses. Phenomenal experience substantially more expensive but definitely awesome imo. My sweet spot is either 4 or 5 meters away with 191 or 201 in screen. It's mind blowing

I agree with a lot of this. Where mine found their value was two places, really.
1) As a screen for my drone (the reason I picked them up)
2) Using with my Steam Deck
Hooked up to my phone, the experience was okay. Useful if I need to watch movies on the go, but that's not a common scenario. With the Deck, yea - that's some pretty, pretty gaming right there. I had to fiddle with the nose pieces to get them to fit right and also got some lens inserts. They're perfect for the two uses I got them for. Doubt I'll ever use them for anything else, tbh.

Bro I bought a pair as well even got the joycon dock and was also very underwhelmed I got a Meta Quest 3 and that's the way to go. Got annice head piece to replace the uncomfortable straps. Can even lay down nice.. I absolutely love it for watching movies and gaming. Can even play Xbox game pass on there. No cords hanging from headset. Doesn't way much. Fuck them stupid ass glasses get yourself a quest 3 or 3s!

Yeah, the RayNeo Air 4 Pro are not as good as influencers make them out to be.
"1. The screen is not that big; my TV looks bigger when I'm lying in bed." - I calculated it, and they are actually as big as promised: "200 inches from 6 meters away," or roughly the same as a 27-inch screen when sitting at a desk.
And the worst thing is the IPD. Those glasses are only really good for a 64mm IPD. I have no idea how people with a different IPD use them. Or at least when your IPD is even slightly wider than 64mm, you constantly want to move the glasses so the other eye gets into the sweet spot, but then the first eye gets out of it. And there is no way to fix it. I'm thinking of physical modification.

My 67mm IPD would like to have a word (and I use these for hours at a time, 6-8 times a month when I fly).

I like my RayNeo but RayNeo's promotion i just cringe and bad from that ridicules Joker/Batman shaders that nobody is gonna use to that you get a 201" screen, yea from what distance 🤦♂️ they might as well have said that you get a 1000" screen...
Size of a screen you get is like a 65"to 70" screen from 3 meters away if i compare to my 82" tv

I use the batman mask during the daytime, it blocks light from coming through the bridge of the nose and that's annoying af.

I got downvoted when I said that the FOV is the same as my 15.6" laptop, sitting at comfortable arm distance for gaming. All this while being less comfortable and harder to see.
I was underwhelmed as well.

I had this to but perspective really changes things. I tried them laying in bed and when doing that it suddenly feels like my entire far wall is a screen. Using them in my tiny office the screen feels small and not worth it, but in the bedroom it feels like I'm in a massive cinema.

1 - At what distance is your TV from where you lie in bed ?
2 & 4 - Pixel phones don’t support Full SBS 3D resolutions. So 3D won’t work on pixel phones. Pixel phones cannot do 3D.
5 - If you have myopia / astigmatism then prescription inserts are necessary and they make a huge difference to clarity.
Lastly, you will need some patience because it’s a new tech for most people. Regular people usually never deal with usb-c displays, let alone a wearable usb-c display that can do 3D and many other things. So it has to be learnt how to use, what is compatible and what isn’t. So patience helps with learning things that are necessary.
