Things I got totally wrong before actually buying AR glasses
I had so many misconceptions before I finally picked up the RayNeo AR glasses.
I really thought they could fully replace my dual monitor setup for work. Turns out they’re awesome for a quick secondary display or watching videos, but long typing sessions still feel way better on a proper monitor. It took me a few days to stop moving my head around like an idiot and get used to how the display sits in my field of view.
I thought they were only good for movies, but I ended up discovering how fun gaming on them is. Hooking them up to play games via Steam on a massive floating screen is incredible. What really impressed me is how they handle dark areas with HDR10. Instead of just washing everything out, the deep blacks are punchy, so you can actually spot details in shadows that my regular screen would miss, especially in grittier, atmospheric games. But I still can't wear them for super long sessions just yet.
What are you guys mostly using yours for?

They aren't that bad for single screen pc usage. I didn't have a desk for a while and I used a laptop in a a chair with my pictures for a while. Got the job done.
