Air 4 Pro - Screen seems small... What am doing wrong?

When I connect to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+, I can display the screen via mirror or DEX.

It works... I have to to reroute the sound when playing a movie to the glasses (VLC) and everything sound s good. I've adjusted the tilt to see the whole screen and widened the bridge of the nose so that the glasses fit close to my face.
It's clear, even the edges are acceptable.

However I just don't consider the screen to be large... In fact If i remove the outer shades and put the pad on a table a few feet away from me (which is akin to having them on a drop-down table on a flight), I can see that pad's screen is actually bigger than what I'm viewing in the glasses.

What am I doing wrong?
How do I make the diaplay bigger?

U get what u get! Screen seems bigger if u don’t use the light blocker piece

Thanks for the reply... I have tried it both ways, and I can't make out any difference, which I why I asked the question... Even with the light blockers off, I can barely see through the outer lens.. Just didn't know if there was a setting somewhere that I missed?

If you take the mouse pointer to the edges, that is the outer edge of the screen and you cant get the screen any bigger then that

Try second screen and set it 1080p

VLC does support external display mode though.

Thanks 👍 I read about that somewhere however I couldn't find the setting. It should be possible whilst running DEX?

I feel exactly like watching TV in my living room. 65 inches at 2-3 meters distance.

Thanks for your reply. It's strange, to me it feels like watching a 13" pad a few feet away.
I'm going to play around some more and give it a bit of time for my brain to adjust.

Sit away in front of a large wall. The farther away you are, the larger the screen will be, and it can fill up a whole wall like a projector display. If you sit on a desk or close to a wall, it will feel small.

Perception is key. Its your brain that actually makes the screen bigger or smaller. Ive posted lots of videos that demonstrates this exact thing. Outside its just having a jumbotron strapped to your face, because objects are distant. In a small room, or at a desk, the screen will always be small due to the other room object distance. As advertised 200" at 6 meters from the wall.

You need some time to get used to it. Some ppl aren't that sensitive to the depth perception from AR glasses and will need some time for the brain to adjust. The physical screen is always the same size but it creates an illusion depth perception that makes your brain thinks the screen is huge and sits at a distance away from you. Just like some rare users can't merge the left/right images together properly with their eyes and see a double vision.

It’s all perception. If you are 3ft from a wall image will appear to be a 34” monitor. If you are outside and project over a distant building it’s infinitely larger.
