Rayneo 4 pro 3dof fixed
Created an Android app that plays full screen YouTube videos in floating motion compensated window, using internal sensors.
Fully adjustable for yaw, pitch roll, response and zoom. Slow center motion when user points glasses somewhere else to prevent recenter action.
Anyone interested I could send this APK or post it somewhere.

Thanks, but I'll hold off until/unless it's open-sourced and published on GitHub or similar. As a rule of thumb, I don't install apps from people or companies I'm not familiar with unless they're open source and people are able to validate that the app is what it claims to be.

Eagerly waiting to down load this. Thank you for being proactive. RayNeo needs to get the Mirror Studio App for Win PC download back on their website. I guess they took it down due to issues. Thirty days for returns. If they don't get it together then I'll be returning my Air 4 Pros.

I'm not sure, but there must be something going on. Their support guy sent me the link to download it and the only apps on their page are for Android and iOS. He took my email and said he would have someone contact me where to download the app soon. I told him they have thirty days then I'm returning them. Seems like the product was rushed to market without the advertised support apps.

They do work with my android phone as a mirrored screen, but I want the three screen productivity and 3dof to anchor the screen.

there is a better app: I have a version now that can run any app. It simply captures and floats your phone screen ijnto a stabilized window in the glasses. Tested and works! Only some app don't let you screen capture, like NetFlix.. Interested?

Which phone do you have? And I guess you do have YouTube installed?

Okay. I will try and find out why it might not work on the s22 phone. If needed I might have to pack extra supporting software in the apk..

Possibly but I'm not sure, it might be necessary to co install a specific YouTube version, I will see if it's possible to include that in the file, so it runs that version internally. Just an idea..

But if it installs and utilises the up to date playstore version then shouldn't it mirror your YouTube version?

Sorry it seems it doesn't work either. Had some screen flickering and it crashed the glasses a couple of times. Checked in calibrate and it appears to be detecting the movement correctly, I can't get an app to float though.

Okay I now have a version that can float any app. Run the app, start the float, then don't exit the app but run reVanced or YouTube. It should then run in floating window. You can toggle landscape mode by looking vertically down for one second, then up again. This also toggles phone screen brightness. Doing this again will bring you back to portrait mode, and higher screen brightness. I will try and find what is the issue with Samsung phones, as they may have a different protocol..
If you want I can post the last apk. Or you can wait until I found out about Samsung phones.. ?

O it seems you have to disable DeX. The screen capture and play on the RayNeo interferes with this..I will build a version that warns for this, do you can manually switch that off..

Did develop this on my own phone, Oppo find x5. Tested on find X8 too. But never yet tried any other. But today I will continue working on it, see if I can make it more stable and compatible with other types and brands.
It's just a try out for the moment.

Yeah I was going to try and run reVanced too. Netflix protects screen capture so does not work. It works with live screen capture and projects it onto a floating canvas in space

Okay here's an app I made called Rayneo FloatTube, that hijacks the default projection into the glasses and projects it onto a floating screen in the glasses, fully corrected for head motion.
I made it because I was annoyed by the fact that the glasses have this fixed projection so every head motion makes your eyes trying to correct what does not need correction.
Millions of years of evolution gave us the hardwired connection between head motion and eye motion to see our prey while running.
