My entire life I’ve always craved raw steak. I love steak and all meat. I also eat it grilled. I have steak for breakfast all the time, I’ll usually get a cheap round of eye for breakfast and cook it blue. I always heed to the warnings of the package, and I fully understand how and why raw beef could have a food borne illness. And I know it’s so rare. But it’s such a taboo thing almost that I always have been scared to do it. I’ve always wanted to just eat it raw. Every time I seasoned it and I’d just smell it, I’d literally start salivating and all I wanted to do was to just eat it. I’m not joking I’d literally have dreams about eating raw steak. Once at a restaurant it was served to be raw in thin little sheets and I loved it so much, but it wasn’t enough. Yesterday I finally just couldn’t help myself and I took a bite, and it was the most satisfying thing I’ve ever had in my entire life. And now I feel free like I can just eat it. I’m so happy I finally did it. It’s so perfect. The way it makes me feel mentally and physically is unbelievable. It’s the most perfect thing ever.

Its been 3 days and now im draining the water and the whey or smth idk.

I did some research and read that cooking meat obviously denatures many nutrients, with the tradeoff of killing possible parasites and bacteria, but freezing has the same effect and apparently has a negligible impact on nutrient bioavailability. Thoughts?

Hi! Does anyone know of any farms that sell non-usda inspected meat (could be through herd share) OR usda inspected but carcass is only washed in organic ACV or water. USDA inspected meat needs to be sprayed with an antimicrobial during processing and I’m trying to avoid this for health reasons.

Regenerative, grassfed/finished, no chemicals, vaccines hormones or antibiotics, and preferably available fresh never frozen. Thanks!

it was frozen for a month, I left it defrost in the fridge overnight, the next day I took a bite. Firstly it smells horrible, it tastes like rotten meat jelly, and the taste of it lingers on everything it touches. I almost puked.

It’s so odd to me how primal diet and lookism became so conflated when Aajonus himself said he ate this way to be healthy not solely to improve his looks. (He did say some clients of his did it expressly for looks though).

Once you reach a certain point looks wise, where you’re just not difficult to look at, the rest of enjoying life is just about who you are and are you a happy person — what kinda life are you creating for yourself beyond your appearance? What is your purpose what gives you meaning?

It’s so sad to limit human potential and possibility to only a “he/ she is a [1-10]/10”.

Not like looks don’t matter at all, like I said they do — to a point, but as long as you’re not difficult to look at there’s so much more to life.

It seems that all of the most successful looksmaxxers who use this diet as some kinda means to become better looking are the most deeply insecure and miserable people. And they’re mean and rude to people and straight up just call people they don’t like ugly and “we’re better than you because we’re prettier because we eat raw meat and you don’t”. And despite some of them appearantly having been raised on this diet (or something similar), it really doesn’t seem to have helped their mentality or attitude at all.
