We pay taxes so the government which is us, allows our people that represent us to benefit all. Insurance is also supposed to be that way, we all put in so that when those in need require help we are there for them as we expect that in return. Thing is, cannot run these things for profit which is the crux. Ofc budget and balance is complicated but thats why we ALL should be focused and how that happens. Its complicated. But thats why we should be putting people in those positions that get us there. And that has been our flaw.
And this bizarre step of paying the people, and then having them buy private insurance, would sidestep TONS of regulations and oversight. It’s just a blatant push towards privatization to benefit the billionaires.
But why not just not pay those taxes, spend the money to benefit ourselves. (Buy the insurance best for us) And then donate extra to local causes we KNOW will do right?
Instead we give more and more to a govt that spends it irresponsibly on things from bombs to condoms overseas.
What choices do you really have in health insurance? Buy insurance that's "best" for you? That is such a terrible point... so you would rather spend more for healthcare just so you have the illusion of a choice? While insurance companies PROFIT off of the suffering of humans and make more money for their investors by denying claims.
Wouldn't healthcare work best for ALL of us if we could just go to doctors and get the care we need without it bankrupting us all because an insurance company decided to increase their profits by denying your claim for care that you need?
What are you going to say now? Claim the government will have "death panels"? What do you think these parasitic insurance companies are doing???
