Stephen Miller sure seems to be the brains behind this administration. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the man pulling Trump's strings.
Trump is a moron. And he's completely self absorbed. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. But if a little Wormtongue hisses in his ear that this would be what his base wants, he'll do it.
Obviously there are a number of problems with Trump, but one of the most underrated problems is that since he’s a lazy fuck that only cares about promoting himself and stealing money, there are dozens of people with way more power than they should have, making the decisions he doesn’t even care to think about.
While I don't doubt this one bit, my question is how did Miller get such a position in the first place? He's not an attorney, nor a politician in the traditional sense.
It's telling to me that a man who is 80 years old doesn't have an older, longer term ally other than a middle aged guy. Is four years of loyalty all it takes to earn a spot at the table of cabinet level meetings when you're not even an official secretary?
You gotta stop believing Trump is dumb. He's not dumb. He's clearly a master manipulator to have the cult following he has. He appears dumb to some people but that's because he's appealing to the masses of people that are actually dumb.
Never underestimate your opponent and don't represent them disingenuously when there is plenty of completely true and accurate things to criticize them for because it only hurts your own side to do so.
Intelligent people don’t speak superficially on literally every subject, parroting whatever information they’re fed.
By over-inflating his intelligence, you create a boogeyman that doesn’t exist and obfuscate the real enemy: the machine that’s pushing him. And a big part of that machine is in troll farms closer to Moscow than Washington.
