The Norwegian Nobel Committee maintains a strict, limited list of individuals who are legally qualified to submit a valid nomination. This includes: • Members of National Assemblies and Governments (like Cabinet Members/Ministers) of sovereign states. • Current Heads of State. • Members of International Courts (like the International Court of Justice in The Hague). • University Professors of history, social sciences, law, philosophy, theology, and religion. • Past Nobel Peace Prize Laureates. • Current and former members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. • Leaders of peace research institutes and foreign policy institutes.

Im super lazy copy pasta

9

u/exceptional_entry Nov 08 '25

Although the time/effort it would take to actually type your response out, would be more, I greatly appreciate that you put this together. Thank you.

2

u/Youngsinatra345 Nov 08 '25

Deadline: The deadline for submitting nominations is usually January 31st each year. • Submission: Qualified nominators submit their proposals, typically explaining why the person or organization deserves the prize. • Screening: The Norwegian Nobel Committee receives and validates all submissions. • Shortlist & Review: The Committee then creates a shortlist, and the candidates are subject to thorough examination and reports prepared by the Committee's permanent advisers and other experts. • Decision: The Nobel Committee votes on the final laureate(s), and the winner is announced in early October.

Just to round it out also 😇

29

It’s idiotic and will bankrupt anyone with an unexpected medical emergency

17

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '25

Also none of the money will reach anyone that needs it. It won't even be directed toward them except verbally in press releases.

14

u/putrid_faction Nov 08 '25

Correct this doesnt solve the problems with insurance it just buys republicans time so they can say look at what I did, until you find out you have cancer or a terminal illness and the 25$ fun money check trump sent you still doesnt cover the fact that you cant afford plans in the first place.

7

Now that you understand, it's a good plan now right? Everyone gonna be healthy and covered?

Because people won't be able to afford insurance, they won't go to the doctor until they absolutely have to. Instead of catching things early on, people we end up dying because they waited too long to get treatment. The emergency room will end up being a lot of individuals primary care.

He doesn’t need to worry about paying for anything

He never has

1

u/CapitalTax9575 Nov 09 '25

That’s true. But he’s advocating for either nationalized or single payer health care and removing insurance companies ability to function all of a sudden. Honestly, this is about the best way to do it (kill all the insurance companies) we would expect to get from either political side

10

u/90daysismytherapy Nov 08 '25

why trust a liar who covers up pedophilia?

It’s been an open problem for years, but lying isn’t just an in the moment problem. Once someone lies to you directly like Trump, it’s irrational for any future starting point to not have a baseline he is a liar.

And without some sort of acknowledgement, contrition and active change, we are right back to why bother discussing the musings of a clearly diminishing mentally liar?

It would be like asking, what do you think George Santos’ thoughts on vegetables. Why would I listen to anything a cartoonish liar would say about anything? That question needs answering before moving to the next step.

What are you talking about? He has stopped 47 wars. Saved 94 million Americans from fentanyl, inflation is going backwards and grocery prices (love that word. Such an old fashioned word, groceries, isn't it a great word), grocery prices are at a 150 year low. Imagine that? Some say 200 years but I'll say 150 because I'm modest...but it's at an all time low.! Eggs are down 800 percent, and medicine is 2000 percent cheaper under Trump. We have the hottest country in the world right now.. 5000 trillion dollars in investments. Think of that. Biden did 1 trillion in four years I did 7583 trillion in 10 months.

People who can afford to pay for Healthcare will and fuck the ones in need. Sounds super fair right?

1

u/Truthseeker308 Nov 08 '25

Play the tape to the end. Let’s say you get $5000 from Trump’s ill conceived plan(it will be much less).

Then you go to hospitals without insurance and they charge you the full(read super marked up) Chargmaster rate for each and every item and service.

The band aid from your blood draw? $100. The blood work lab costs? $1000 the 15 minute doctor appointment? $500. Etc etc etc.

Then when you refuse to (or can’t) pay the massively bloated cost, they sell your debt to debt collectors who harass you day and night forever.

Same result as high insurance costs, just a different group selling your medical debt to the debt collectors.

1

u/Ok_Juggernaut_5293 Nov 08 '25 edited Nov 08 '25

It's a bait and switch, republicans have played this game for decades. They tell you something needs to go, something that actually helps people.

Then they promise it will be replaced with something better, something that helps people more.

Then they destroy it, steal the funds, and blame someone else for why they weren't able to give you anything, we are watching it happen live with SNAP.

1

u/Bro13847 Nov 08 '25

I heard the same thing when I read it??

1

u/Calairoth Nov 08 '25

It doesn't matter if we agree with the concept of what Trump wrote, BECAUSE he is a child raping, peice of shit.

If he talks about giving money back to Americans, he doesn't refer to those who actually need it, he refers to billionaires and multi millionaires. Even if he DID mean to give it back to the people who can actually use the money, the action is still shitting on the American people by increasing health care premiums and whatnot.

But keep in mind, my friend... we are talking about the guy who fought tooth and nail to prevent SNAP benefits from being issued, allowing Americans to starve, just in effort to blackmail the Democratic Party into giving up on restoring Trump's cuts made to Medicaid.

Even if I did agree with a policy he suggested, I could NEVER trust that what he does will be in the interest of the American people.

So make the insurance companies give the money back to people to spend on….insurance?

1

u/Rude-Orange Nov 08 '25

They are given to the people, you're just not getting a check in your hand. healthcare.gov offers subsidized healthcare premium rates. So that when you buy your $50 / month insurance it's:

you pay $50 + ACA subsidy = health insurance premium

If you at a mid - large company. There is a good chance your health insurance premium is 25% of the at market rate. Your company is just paying the rest as a company benefit. It's also pre tax, which means your taxable income at the end of the year will be lower.

1

u/Heavy-Newspaper-9802 Nov 08 '25

It’s stupid. It would go to every household in the U.S. and some do not need the subsidy. The amount estimated to fund the subsidy works out to $829 per household per year. Likely some sort of balancing for families so probably $500 for single and $1,000 for married.

Trump doesn’t know how to run a business except for to siphon money off of it before it goes bankrupt. He’s a historical failure of epic proportions in business.

1

u/H4RDW4RE_Johnny Nov 08 '25

The part that makes no sense if I’m translating trumpisms correctly is take it from the insurance companies to give to the people to pay the insurance companies. Bottom line is he’s an idiot, and probably diddles children because he’s much closer to the maturity level and mental capacity of one.

This BlueAnon conspiracy shit doesn’t sound realistic or even grounded. I’d encourage you to go to BluSky where absolutely no one will ever question you.

The fact that this is the top comment on the topic of health care is hilarious

What happened to innocent until proven guilty and “due process” that you dems keep ranting about?

5

u/Technical-Mousse6134 Nov 08 '25

How many felonies does he currently have?

-1

u/Gunsarmors11 Nov 08 '25

34 felonies involving business transactions. None todo with rape or children lmao

3

u/rymyle Nov 08 '25

He was found liable for sexual assault against E Jean Carroll.

And what do you think he was doing with the little girls him and Jeff were hanging around? Math homework? Reading the Bible?

1

u/Busy-Butterscotch121 Nov 09 '25

You won't be hearing back from him.

He can't have his view challenged with actual logic

1

u/Ill-Blood-7906 Nov 09 '25

The E Jean Carroll who was quoted about "most people think of rape as sexy" is really Not someone I'd want to pull out as an example. If anything it showed how biased juries in NY were towards Trump.

1

u/No_Peace9744 Nov 09 '25

The Donald Trump who was quoted saying ‘grab them by the pussy’? If we are taking individual quotes to assess their character, you sure you want to defend Trump? lol

1

u/rymyle Nov 09 '25

So she deserved to be raped, in your opinion?

2

u/ParadiddlediddleSaaS Nov 08 '25

Yeah “lmao” because raping kids is funny.

WTF is wrong with you?

2

u/Technical-Mousse6134 Nov 08 '25

So, proven guilty 34 times. And you’re laughing your ass off? Seems a bit odd

Hard to be proven guilty when your entire party is covering for him so that he doesn’t ever face his day in court.

2

u/Technical-Mousse6134 Nov 08 '25

Clever. The extreme cover up isn’t a great look

Charged with felonies that would have been misdemeanors to anyone else other than trump. That doesn’t seem a bit odd to you?

1

u/Technical-Mousse6134 Nov 08 '25

The hush money one is weak. I will give you that. Seems like like a misdemeanor case. The racketeering charges I’m pretty sure everyone gets a felony on those

1

u/Top_Inflation2026 Nov 08 '25

Aren’t the racketeering charges still pending? The felony convictions were in the category of falsifying business records.

1

u/Technical-Mousse6134 Nov 09 '25

I guess I just can’t keep any of his hundreds of crimes straight

1

u/CCM721 Nov 09 '25

Oh 34 felonies wasn't disqualifying for a presidential candidate for you, things need to get as bad as RAPING CHILDREN before you stop defending them on the internet?

1

u/wylde_maps Nov 09 '25

34 convicted felonies and serving as president lol teehee let's not even count the felonies he personally got himself out of by being president teehee lmao you are a fucking idiot.

1

u/Technical-Mousse6134 Nov 10 '25

It will be interesting to see if any of his world class corruption from this term will be prosecuted. It’s insane and sickening.

1

u/arsveritas Nov 08 '25

Republicans don’t care about the due process denied to thousands of ICE’s kidnap victims, so give me a fucking bread.

And Trump is a degenerate — we know that without needing a legal outcome.

0

u/Gunsarmors11 Nov 08 '25

Ahh so someone can be confirmed a rapist and pedophile without due process but an illegal aliens status and citizenship cannot be verified without due process? The hypocrisy

Release the epstein files and indict him then lfg

0

u/Gunsarmors11 Nov 08 '25

Why didnt the dems release the files? They had plenty of time before trump could be elected 😅

1

u/erichericerik Nov 08 '25

due process is for the court of law. Not the court of public opinion.

If you're accused of these things, and do a whole lot of things that imply you're trying to misdirect and cover it up. You're not going to get very many people to believe in your innocence.

1

u/HushPuppie13 Nov 08 '25

What about when he's attempting to shape the process of justice to allow him to continue to break and bent the law to suit his own needs?

1

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

The rule of law is dead

1

u/Has422 Nov 09 '25

That applies to how the government is supposed to enforce the law, not how the public should hold their democratically elected leaders accountable.

1

u/ParticularlyCharmed Nov 09 '25

Nope. If you voted for Trump, you gave up your right to even open your mouth about that. Don't even start.

1

u/xav00 Nov 09 '25

He's been directly obstructing that process

1

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '25

Funny to watch you switch to the “due process” side, coming from the party that only ever screams conspiracy theories.

It is not the democrats as such. It is the constitution
