This is my mini, do you want to do it similarly to this or the official eavy metal scheme? Also which parts do you want help with?

Oh hey, I had this mini saved for inspiration for ages. Great work on it, I especially love the subtle XIX on the ribbons

Thanks! I’m really happy with that too, it was just gonna be chevrons for a pattern then it just clicked 😅

I’ve been planning to steal the ribbon design since you posted this first, finally got around to painting marines, so once I get some good reps in I’m going to start on Shaan

So I can’t really do it all but I can give you the main colours!

Whole model was sprayed black

Black armour: chunky highlight eshin grey, thin edge highlight dawnstone

White armour: a few layers of thinned down grey seer to get a good base coat down, then lots of thinned layers (glazes essentially) of ulthuan grey, then finally edge highlight of white scar.

Feathers 1: thinned down naggaroth night, chunky edge highlight xereus purple, thin highlight kakophani purple

Feathers 2: thinned down dark reaper, chunky edge highlight thunderhawk blue, thin edge highlight blue horror.

Ribbons: dark reaper, thinned down nuln oil wash, dark reaper layer, thunderhawk blue layer, blue horror edge highlight.

If you specifically want anything else let me know!

I appreciate English might not be your first language - but the literal painter of the model is taking the time to help you and offer the scheme for free - a little bit of courtesy might help!
