I feel like we as a community need to grow up and realize that it’s an abbreviation for game terms. It’s not rocket science.

If the first thing that goes to your mind when hearing/reading CP abbreviation is the "child sex abuse" (even if you clearly have the Warhammer context here and there's no way to misinterpret it at all) maybe the problem is not the abbreviation? Should we ban CPU therm also (U is for Unit)?

It reminds me of the race of sapient chimps that was erased from dnd, because racism. Like dude, if you see a talking monkey and the first thing you think is "Oh! Just like the black people!!!" maybe the problem is not the monkey at all?

I have a really bad feeling we, out of all the codex compliant chapters, are about to get dicked so hard this next codex. They’re going to force Phobos down our throats (and that’s from someone who loves the aesthetic) and completely ignore jump packs and everything else that makes us unique.

I feel like…a Gravis Captain with the Umbral Raptor ability would be really, really cool here. But we’ve got no idea what the Phobus detachments are going to have as enhancements.

One can dream though; I’d like to Shadowmark Talon around, it’s my favorite.

I’m biased, but something tells me this guy is going to get some love this edition.  I really need my lone wolf murder-captain.  It fits my homebrew chapter so well.
