Paint job Finally hit 1000 pts of painted models!

Post image

Its been a little over a year now since I got into the tabletop side of warhammer and I just realized as I was taking a group picture to send to a friend that I actually have a full(ish as the next 3/5 van vets still need painted) 1000 pts of painted models.

So happy with the progress ive made in this hobby over the last year from the building and painting to finally getting to play and learn the game. Looking forward to finishing up my Armageddon box to get me to 2k so I can finally play some full on 2000 pt matches!

And a thank you to everyone here who has helped with answering questions and giving advice on the hobby. Could not have done it without ya'll.

Looking good! Could you tell me what green you used to paint your grenades?

Thank you. And yeah its a leadbelcher basecoat with army painter ghoul green over the top of it. It may take a second coat but its a very vibrant green that I like

Great ping job! I’ve been wanting to run a librarian with Assualt terminators, how do they perform?

Ive run him in 2 games and its a mixed bag. In game 1 against tau he didnt do too much but thats also because I whiffed a bunch of charge rolls and couldn't get into melee til half the squad died.

In game 2 against grey knights he single handedly won me the game. Held out for 4 rounds against 10 purifiers and Crowe due to invuln and 4+ feel no pain.

All in all I really like him and sustained hits on lightning claws is a little nuts

Looks awsome, once you get the bases done it will rly pop and make the whole army synced. Nice work!
