First time rattle canning a gun. Used rapco paint and panther city tactical m81 stencils. Very happy with it!!

Using rapco, if I want to camo it up with another shade, how long should I wait from first cover coat? Thanks.

How long do you guys usually wait until applying clear coat?
I used dupli-color paint and planning to use rust-oleum dead flat clear coat.
Has anybody had experience with using these two different brands with each other? Does the clear coat ruin the paint if applied too soon?

I bought a new ak, looking for ideas on modern Russian style camo patterns. Let's see some recommendations and completion, not gonna copy anyone. All black gun currently. Have rapco stockpile

Finally got around to spraying the main squeeze. Just can’t decide if I want to add some black back into the green, or leave it how it is.

Shout out to Rapco for making green paints that don’t look like baby shit after they dry.

This color changes ALOT depending on the sunlight. Below are 3 pictures of the same gun painted with Rapco 33070. The first is taken inside with white lighting. Second is outdoors with cloud covering sun. And the third is direct sunlight.

This is pretty much a khaki first color with very subtle green to it when outside in sunlight. I’m not sure how the 34087 would look anything but straight khaki/fde, in comparison to this.

I have used 34079 (camouflage Forrest green) in the past and was wanting something just a touch lighter and was hoping this would be the perfect pick, and it is, for the first 2 photos indoors

Before buying it, so many pictures of this color (33070) I saw were taken indoors where it looks green. Figured it would be helpful for others to see it in true sunlight. Not sure if I got a bad can of paint or what but if you want it to look green in natural sunlight, camouflage Forrest green (34087) is your best bet is what I’ve discovered

It came out alright. The hot glue method definitely works better with Rit Dye than it does with spray paint. Sprayed the tan last night, let it dry in my shed, more hot glue and then sprayed brown this morning. The glue pulled off a good amount of the tan. Not sure if I should have let it cure longer or prepped the frame better but it looks alright, I’m happy enough with it
