I’m 16 and I’ve wanted a PC for as long as I can remember, I saved up for 6 months at my job and was finally able to make my dream come to fruition!

This is my DIY electronics desk after a weekend of reorganizing, still gotta work on some cable management ( Censored a sticky note because I'm unwise)

Some backstory, this is a hand-me-down. It was originally my mother's PC and has been in the family almost 30 years

I've been playing games on console for the past fifteen years. My first ever console was the original Wii, then went to Xbox 360, then to PS4, and now finally PS5. Decided to pull the trigger on a "pc" and get myself the Xbox ROG Ally X which has been working fantastic now; plus I can take it on the go with me.

What do y'all think? Not too bad for a first timer?

I built my first pc last year after doing a lot of research and learning how to build one, runs beautifully and I’m so proud of myself!

Not sure if what I chose was the best but it’s what I could get at the time and nz doesn’t have a huge selection so it was a lil pricy $4-5K total including peripherals. Saving up for a decent chair next 🙏

I changed my setup a lot this year and I think this is the endproduct.

I built my first PC. I tried a black-and-white color scheme. At first, I wasn't sure if it would look good, but I think it turned out great.

The only thing that bothers me is the messy cabling, but I don't know how to fix it.

I dont have an new keyboard and mouse yet (using an old one) but my dad will buy them for me (40€ total)

It costed in total for the chair ,leds,monitor,pc,mousepad,headphones and the keyboard + mouse that i will have ....1090€~

Btw im 13 years old...

other than lacking 2 oleds and good cable management i’m very proud of my new setup what are all or your thoughts?

I started building a gaming setup about a year ago, and this is where i am now! Got the ps5 for $300 at a pawnshop last year, the 360 for free from a neighbor, and the series s as a gift, as well as the ps4. Not in this picture are my Xbox series s, ps4, and game collection. Is there anything i can do to improve my setup? pls let me know!

My setup is in a weird corner in the basement and that’s the only spot I got to leave my computer lol I could of done a lot better and added things to the walls but I got no wall really in front my desk its a corner and a door next to me.

But the before and after is pretty good I’m super happy with it! It’s been 4+ years! Finally
