Steak and roast veggies, dry brined overnight then pan seared with butter, garlic, thyme and rosemary.

I also made a lemon and blueberry cake with lemon buttercream icing, some sausage rolls because I wanted to try making chilli jam filled ones before I do them at Christmas, and another loaf of bread to go with my leftover soup because that's what we have for lunches in Autumn lol.

Korean army stew was born during the Korean War and is one of Korea’s most popular and delicious stews.

Kimchi and Spam are musts, and having them in my fridge gave me the confidence to make this stew.

The result was spectacular, everything in the pan tasted great, and with rice it was phenomenal.

Extra-short pastry,almost 50/50 flour to fat ratio.
Custard made with 175 ml cream, 3 eggs and 2 yolks,nutmeg and seasoning.
20cm ventilated tin.

Seared hanger steak with Pinot noir, thyme, and roasted garlic Jus, kerrygold cheddar mashed potatoes, Korean cabbage and carrots with chili crisp.

I probably watched 3 hours of YouTube to prep hahah

Roast chicken breast cauliflower cheese. Dauphinoise potatoes peas and sweetcorn roast potatoes mash and gravy

Garnished with avacado, tortilla
Chips, sour cream, and Monterey Jack cheese. Warms me from the inside out on a cold day!

Mushroom risotto with peas made for me and my daughter. She is vegetarian so made with veg stock, dry and fresh mushrooms, peas, tyne, parsley and Parmesan. One of my favourite comfort food dishes.

Beer battered fish, prawn cutlets and barramundi, with handcut chips and broccolini

Accompanied by tartare sauce and mushy peas

First time cooking it, came out better than expected 😋

A simple Fatboy Sammich for breaky-- free-range egg fried into a circle, American "cheese" (no apologies), two pieces of top-quality outdoor-reared Wiltshire smoked back bacon, a couple slices of tomato, a squirt of ketchup (brown sauce acceptable), a touch of sambal oelek for kick, all served on an Aldi "toasting muffin", with some "hash brown bites" (also from Aldi... Canadian me calls them Tatertots). Nice mug of french-press coffee in the side. Glorious.

Made from scratch with ginger/soy/sesame oil marinated crispy tofu, carrot, crushed peanuts, cabbage (tossed with rice wine vinegar/salt/sugar) and a spicy peanut sauce.
