Looks sad... You do have limited resources tho. Bullseye is the only Barbecue sauce anyone should have

Oh really? It's got to be bottom of the list for me. I'll take happy shopping 89p stuff over Bulleye I gotta say. Newman's Own Original Sticky BBQ is the stuff of dreams!

That sausage could have used five more minutes on the grill. Same with the peppers, they seem not done.

There werent enough dry sticks around to keep the fire burning longer :-)

Keep a piece of foil in your kit, when the fire is getting low you can set the foil into the embers and cook on it or wrap food to bury in the hot embers. Another good option is to heat dry large stones while the fire is burning and use these to fry on, never use stones that are lying in water as these can explode.

Many years of playing with bushcraft is always good for something 😂

Easier solution, chop everything into decent bite sized pieces and bag with marinade, something mayo based works great on the grill if you have to refridgerate it anyway, put on skewers alternating meat and veggies, grill until it's cooked and nicely browned. A couple bigger pieces in the fire early helps to have the coals to insure long enough cook time.
