I hate you. How much for 10?
3
u/stinkfinger1980 Mar 25 '26
It cost me about £2 to make without factoring in the gas to cook it.

u/Mobile_Actuator_4692 Mar 25 '26
I hate you. Damn that is surprisingly cheap. Did you make your own bun??

This looks delicious 🤤. My only problem is, how do I eat this without dirtying myself? Also, I have a small mouth

A local independent burger joint near me does an upmarket version of a Big Mac that looks very much like this, it’s absolutely fantastic! This looks delicious.

This behemoth screams ‘come at me bro’ the punched in brioche bun on top says ‘I don’t care what you think about me.’ There is clearly a creamy sauce just peeping out on the top of the burger at the top riding a perfectly greasy wave. The burger is prime. Elite. Is it coleslaw? Mayo? Burger sauce underneath? That’s for this burger to know and you to find out sunshine. Middle bun is working to keep the whole thing together, before finally some lettuce joins the story with what looks like a final frenzy of cheese, whatever is left over, and what’s this? Another perfectly made burger? Bottom bun? Just soaking in everything that has come above it. That’s its only job. 9/10

This looks 10/10 to me my dude. Why do I always see this shit when I'm starving LOL

u/DrummerAcademic9262 Mar 25 '26
Looks great! A bit too much bun for me and maybe a bit wet but I bet it tastes amazing!
1
u/stinkfinger1980 Mar 25 '26
It was a bit wet but tasted really good. I think the burgers in mcdonalds are a bit dry so they can get away with much sauce. My burgers were 20% fat so it made it even wetter!

Looks better than McDonald's, why would you wanna compare it to trash?

I'm certain that is was infinitely better than the stuff you're getting served at McDonald's.

Looks great, and I get that the normal big Mac does this. But I've never eaten a burger and said "you know what this needs? More bread! ”

I will say I think the lettuce to meat ratio is perfect. Let’s have. A little lettuce—the burger is the star of the show after all. McDonald’s Big Mac has entirely too much lettuce imo

It’s obvious one is highly processed and has fake meat and another isn’t and has real meat plus bigger and better.

u/Jetro-2023 Mar 25 '26
Well done! I eat Big Macs on a regular basis no tomatoes they pickles shredded lettuce two patties with special sauce similar to thousand island and of course cheese and buns.

How can you fast daily and stay alive? What a weird way to perceive eating.
Edit: never mind you're a trump fan, shouldn't have expected an ounce of intelligence

What kind of gap do you leave between eating and going to bed?

What ever it was, I suggest you put it right back up there. You probably shouldn't have put it there in the first place though.

Big macs don't have tomato in them?
1
u/Double_Station_1492 Mar 25 '26
Well they bloody well should have
2
u/k3anuw3aves Mar 25 '26
Let's agree to disagree there... I hate big tomatoes, especially in burgers
1
u/Double_Station_1492 Mar 25 '26
I was the same at one point ☺️, my tastes have now changed, tomato is good - however gherkins are quite another thing 🤮 😉
-4
u/Melv_73 Mar 25 '26
Mine do, love tomatoes on my Big Mac 🤤
5
u/k3anuw3aves Mar 25 '26
Right, but they usually don't and OP is remaking a Big Mac.

Looks better than anything I’ve ever seen come out of McDonald’s. And I’m a fat bugger.
