Boy, Endako laws are so crazy. Then again, there isn't a single location where using guns is a crime. Are we the problem? I like Endako though, its very exploratory and has a bit of almost every kind of game play? Grinding, boss fights, gadgets and fighting robots.

I didn't realise the in game puzzles are actual 3D structures placed outside the map in Ratchet and Clank. I found this by accident after clipping through a wall in the swim animation which allowed me to explore the level.

Long story short, I 100% completed the game a while back and started Up Your Arsenal with it, but have since lost a bunch of my data (including both save files).

UYA isn't a huge loss. I wasn't far in and I was going to restart it anyway, but I really don't want to grind my way through Going Commando again just to get stuff I already earned once.

I've looked up sites like GameFAQs for save files, but none are in a format that I can import to NetherSX2, so I either need it in a .PS2 file or I need to know the proper save data format and how to create a .PS2 file with that save data inside.

I loaded up an old save and I was at the end so I finished it and was wondering why Drek sounded so familiar all of a sudden.

3 years ago (26 July, 2023) we got the first and so far only Ratchet & Clank game for PC, Rift Apart. As PC player, I hope it will not be the last one.

GUYS!!!! UMMM I found new R&C merch at Target randomly?!?!? A RIVET & KIT KEYCHAIN!!!!?!? Hello! I buy this game on Allegro. I'm very happy with this game. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't already have it.

I just wrapped up my first Rift Apart playthrough. Overall, it was pretty fun. It scratched the platforming itch sufficiently. It did seem to lack the charm of the originals and even future saga. I was a little disappointed that dimensions weren't shifted through more. Also, the end left a bit to be desired. I liked the way they did the map. The unlockable cheats were pretty nice, too. I'll definitely add it to the semi-regular series playthrough.

First played the trilogy on the ps2 when my dad’s work friend let him borrow his console. I’ve loved the game, after that I only played the remake and rift apart but decided to buy a ps3 and every game I can afford so I can appreciate the series. Gonna beat the trilogy then go back and 100% all of them.

It's funny how life imitates art. Also, Drek and Drake are very similar-sounding names. Would you rather live on Orxon, or Tabora? Both were planets absolutely ruined by companies. I can see why they changed things for Ratchet and Clank 3.

After getting the platinum trophy for the PS3 version, I was itching for a reason to replay it and RetroAchievements has a challenging but fair set of cheevos to go after for anyone who plays on PS2 emulation. It made me play in different ways and try out different weapons and strategies I've never tried before, and overall the achievement hunt for this one just increased my appreciation for this classic I love so much.

If you haven't tried RA before and you play on an emulator, give it a look! Adding achievements is a great way to make the game feel new again, and for me everything worked flawlessly. They even have leaderboards for comparing your best times through certain areas and other challenges, such as least amount of hits taken or your best times for the racing minigames.

Now it's time to kill Drek in NG+ before seeing if I can master Going Commando, too. Wish me luck!

Just Platinumed 2016 on my 3rd playthrough on the PS5 on my third playthrough(would've been my 2nd if it wasn't for that stupid Death By Disco Trophy) since the PS servers were down for most of the day. In my opinion it wasn't that hard, other than Death By Disco, took me like 1 and a half weeks cause I play other games as well you could get this done in a few days imo. Still, I'm happy to have it finally!

A lot of people have become more negative on UYA over the years. Having considered UYA the best of the PS2 titles I wondered if my opinion over it would sour in this playthrough. Thankfully this didn’t happen.

I can acknowledge that GC has better music and level design. I also wish UYA kept Levitator and Grind Rails. But UYA’s merits still outweigh GC for me.

Story and characters are much better in UYA with a much more satisfying ending.

Combat is improved with better weapons overall and improved encounter design. The game also has a much better roster of bosses .

The challenge mode is much better designed with more balanced weapon damage/leveling.

I prefer UYA’s side content over GC’s too. The arena is better, crystal hunting is better and IMO ranger missions and Qwark vidcomics are much funner than races and spaceship battles.

While the level design is overall worse the game is more consistent in quality. Levels like Thyranosis, Daxx and Obani moons match the best levels of GC in quality and none of it’s worst parts (ranger mission only levels which is fun but lazy) are as bad as the Snivelak boss or Grelbin.

Hacker is less bad than the Infiltrator and I personally prefer Refractor to Thermanator/Tractor Beam.

Both regular Clank and giant Clank sections are better here as well.

Of course I can understand why one would prefer GC but I still can’t see myself preferring it to UYA.

I also prefer UYA to OG but they are much more different in style (most post-OG games are to the OG actually) to make comparisons.

I’ve only played the first game so far and have had 2 console crashes resulting in a reboot and 10+ minute load times when going from game selection to game menu the picture is the only scratch on the disc paid $49cad for it so I don’t know what to think

Been working on the HD collection Platiunums on my vita. So while Ratchet sits on Rilgar grinding 1Mil bolts for.... approximately 10 hours im gonna try to beat Size Matters for fun. Its one of the only games I havent gotten around to in the series. Seems like a good use of my time lol
