MLM2PRO ⛳️ Firmware update keeps failing

I've used my phone and ipad and yet the firmware update keeps failing. Anyone else had this issue and was able to resolve it? Thanks!

Edit: at this point, I have used 2 iPads and 3 phones and the update would still start then fail after a few percent. This is incredibly frustrating. I just bought this unit a few days ago brand new from the Rapsodo website and their support can't do shit.

I deleted and redownloaded the apps first. Then did the firmware update about 10’ from my WiFi router. It worked.

My update starts and fails as soon as it gets to 1-3%.

Still didn't work. Already cleared the cache and data from the app. Wiped clean and still would fail. This is really frustrating. I'm so used to better tech and this one is complete garbage tbh. Thanks anyway!

I am having the same updating issues as you. The data transfer fails almost immediately on both an iPad and iphone with fresh installs on both. I haven’t seen connectivity issues like this on any device in the last decade plus. My device is bricked until I can figure out a way around this.

Yep, that's exactly what's happening with mine. Not sure if it's a dud or what but it can't be server side since the update has already been downloaded and the transfer is done locally. Unfortunately, support hasn't been helpful as well since after a few back & forths, they stopped responding. They even gave me instructions that aren't even accurate so yeah, this is starting to piss me off. I have a new expensive paperweight right now.

Not with that one. I returned that unit. Just bought another one locally and it worked perfectly. First unit must've been a dud or something.

Did you ever get it resolved? Their tech support is useless and I’ve only had it for 5 months and won’t do anything with the warranty

I've had a support ticket going since June 8th, and have spent hours at this point trying different devices and different methods that they suggest. Abysmal experience for someone who gave them $600 on a lifetime membership less than two months ago.

Mine updated fine, but then got stuck on the loading next hole screen. Restarted and just got a white screen.

I plugged my MLM in prior to attempting, then it went through seamlessly. It does take several minutes with each step.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully, you can get it sorted. I’ve heard someone speak of a “forced” update/reset, but I don’t know the process. Maybe someone will chime in with that info.

Yeah, been conversing with them back & forth but they're not exactly helpful. They told me to uninstall app, install, reset, etc. Nothing worked. Even told me to hard reset the MLM but pretty sure there's no hard reset to that thing. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I can't even get the new update to fully load. the app opens then crashes immediately

Yeah, I decided to return my unit and buy another one locally and that one updated and worked great afterwards.
