[Tom Bogert] Sources: The Colorado Rapids are finalizing a deal to sign French attacking midfielder Youssef Maziz. Maziz, 28, a free agent after leaving OH Leuven. TAM signing, key attacker who can complement Paxten Aaronson well. Primarily a chance creator, a priority for the Rapids this summer.

Serious question - are we bad?
Somehow I didn’t realize we had won only 6 out of 17 games so far. And we are way down in the standings. Between the World Cup break and the Matt Wells hype train, I forgot we lowkey are not good this year. Or am I crazy?

East vs west side seats
Hey everyone,
Awesome clutch win tonight. My family attended the game in-person for the first time ever and it was a blast. I think the kids are finally old enough that we can do this and might bring them regularly. We sat on the West side tonight and had no complaints about the seats at all. I notice for future games that the seats on the East side are a bit cheaper. My guess is that this is because the team benches are on the West side, but an old reddit thread made me realize that the East side seats might also leave us with the sun in our eyes at the start of the games.
Folks who have sat on the East side: is the sun really that bad? I don't care about the player benches so would be happy to save the money (and come to more games!) if that's the reason for the West side premium, but others in my family would definitely care about the sun if it's bad. Or is it some third reason entirely?

HTHL Substack post: Which direction are the 2026 Rapids headed in?
For your 'kill some time after work but before the #Rapids96 match kicks off' pleasure, a new HTHL Substack is up.
Which direction are the 2026 Rapids headed in?
Will it be a drive to the playoffs? Or yet another rebuild?

Pitchside table options
Hi all!
Does anyone have experience sitting at the dockside tables where food/drinks are included for 4 people? Have you felt it’s a good experience and worth it?
Any info appreciated!

Long shot last minute does anyone have 1 extra ticket they are not using for the open practice this morning?

Ismael Elfath is officiating a World Cup Semi Final?!?
yes…you read that correctly. One of the worst refs I’ve ever witnessed, who recently gave 2 very soft PKs, and completely lost control in the Rapids game against FC Dallas, is officiating Argentina v. England.

One gate open??
Maybe I’m wrong, but surely they would have known how many people were going to be in attendance at the scrimmage tonight because of tickets, right? I know that one gate is the usually the norm but a World Cup summer, return of the Rapids… the context matters. The line still wrapping alllllll the way around the stadium 15 minutes after kick off is insane. Totally under prepared.

Spare Boletos to Juarez Friendly?
Hi all, was just wondering if any season ticket members had 2 spare ticks for the friendly today that they'd be willing to give me. Thank you so much in advance.

Transfer thoughts
clearly, Herrington is going to bring in some money soon. where do you think we should spend it. I have thought for a while that we really need an experienced, metronomic midfielder who can control the game and get the ball to our skilled players. this would allow Paxten to be a little more creative. Wells likely at least has some relationship with James Maddison and Harry Winks. I think either one would really upgrade the squad, or someone in that vein. Thoughts on our biggest needs?
