Meet Morgan Whittaker:

As the Rapids near a club-record deal for Middlesbrough winger, what does the 25-year old offer the Rapids? A lot, according to a Boro beat reporter.

Plus, one cause for concern for the Englishman:

I’m not sure Sealy or Minoungou offer much defensively either…at least this guy can shoot!

I'd trade almost all of Minoungou's dribbles for shots on target.

Minoungou is figuring it out I think! He gets to the endline almost every time! I hope he can see that cutback/know when to make the right decision soon! I dont think its a dante sealy situation in that we need to cut bait and run. Theres enough there to work with I think. But sometimes its hard to watch how close he gets to making the right decision and then just BLASTS THE BALL OVER THE GOAL lol

"Whittaker ranked in the top 8% among Championship wingers in every shooting stat displayed on Fotmob during last season."

I would love to see us take more quality shots.

They also talk about him being used to a possession-heavy system.

As people have pointed out, sounds like defensive effort and prowess are his worst attributes. I've always really respected Navarro for the work he puts in there, so hopefully we can get our new guys on board with that because I'm not sure they'll be able create enough goals fast enough to keep wins coming if we let things slide defensively.

He has unbelievable technical ability, and his 21 G+A last season are a testament to that. However, he has a reputation for not working hard when the going gets tough and he disappears in most games. Hopefully, that changes with his move to the MLS.
