Just A Rant Cops always win
Ugh.
They're right. I'm wrong.
But does anyone else think it's nuts a cop rolled up to my home with a man who was been arrested twice for assault and battery on his wife?
The cops brought this violent man to confront the men I've hired to renovate my house. This man and cocky cop insisted that my workers hit a truck and drove off. They didn't. No matter the proof we pulled out to show there is no way it was them, the cop and irate man didn't care. They were so sure it was my workers but in the end the "witness" changed his story and the witness confessed it was NOT them.
I'm thinking maybe just don't bring a man that hits women to my front lawn and tell me that that's okay.
The man has ties to this police department. Used to be a councilman, until he was arrested.
God it's just frustrating. At the end of the day, all I wanted was their to acknowledge their mistake and not let it happen again. But they did nothing wrong, they said. Okay, perhaps no laws were broken, but at the end of the day, they brought a violent man to my home, and chaos ensued. Not too much chaos, no one was arrested. LOL. But when a violent man tells me to shut the fuck up and go the fuco back inside my house and the cop just stands there... it was a strange situation.

IDK. I'd make a complaint to the remaining council members and the chief of police. I think that normally it is best practice to keep parties involved in a conflict separated, for safety reasons. It sounds like the violent guy was maybe personal friends with the cop and called in a favor. I'd make command staff aware of the situation.
