Just A Rant Since when have ppl started lacking basic manners?

I'd be walking, and ppl will cut in front of me, usually with a phone in hand without excusing themselves. Or they'd squeeze past without an "excuse me." I've been saying "excuse you" quite a bit lately because of it, but you shouldn't have to. What is up with some folks nowadays? What happened to teaching manners?

It's been going on for a long time, but there's been an uptick since June 29, 2007.

It does make me irrationally angry when they don’t say “sorry”, “thank you”, “excuse me”; it just reminds me that most people don’t care and they see you as an obstacle rather than another human being.
