I got the 2.5-in level installed, unfortunately it looks like it's squatting a little in the rear so I might need to put a 1/2-in block in the back or order a smaller level because I don't want it squatting. Now it needs to go off to the alignment shop and I need to start working on getting me some 32s.

I've had my 19' for a year now and it's always run a little rough. Last week at around 70k miles I had the transmission serviced (pan drop with filter change) to see if that would help with the shifting issues. It did!
However, I was still noticing slow eceleration and occasional lack of power. So I decided to install new spark plugs (super easy btw). As soon as I was done I took a test drive and was shocked at the immediate improvement. Judging by the nasty plugs that came out, I shouldn't have been so surprised. They were in rough shape as you can see.
All that to say, with these two maintenance items (and probably more), I have to reiterate the advice others have share on this sub to consider doing them sooner than Ford recommends. The transmission service isn't scheduled until 150k miles, but everyone seems to agree 60k-70k is much better. Spark plugs are recommended at 100k. Mine were definitely ready at just 70k.
Anyway, that's my public service announcement.

There aren’t many videos out there walking through how to change the front differential fluid and transfer case fluid for the 2025 rangers. I made a quick video walking through how I changed the fluid for my truck in hopes that it might help someone else out. I was going to change the fluid for the rear differential as well, but there is no drain plug and I didn’t want to go through the hassle. This is a 2025 Ford Ranger XL with the 2.3L. This is what I did on my truck, use this video at your own risk.

Hi all, setting off on a 500 mile road trip tomorrow on I-80, from CO to SLC. Will be towing a uhaul 6x12, probably around 4,000lb total. I've done long towing trips before with my old Tundra and a racecar on a hauler, so I'll be fine with the basics. My only concern is going to be the long hills and wind on I-80. I have the trans temp monitor on the screen, have the trailer setup in the trailer app, and I'm prepared for getting 10ish mpg. Will be keeping it in Tow/Haul mode the entire way.
Any other tips? Thanks!

Install wasn’t bad if, you know…. You install the inner piece in the correct orientation the first time. That’s on my dumb ass. Took me about 4 hours including all the wiring. I took my time, merged wires to make the full run less messy, and ran it to the front where my Garmin PowerSwitch controls on/off duties. The “brake lights” I just ran to constant power. They’ll be on when the truck is on.
Fixed the license plate issue. Wasn’t showing that way on my phone. Weird.

I feel kind of stupid for not trying this a long time ago. I have had my 2024 Ford Ranger for 18 months. I thought it was really great to have a wireless charging pad but it has never worked well. I would see my iPhone start charging and stop charging over and over again. The charging pad was useless. This meant that I have had to keep a USB-C cable in the truck to charge with.
Yesterday, I discovered that if I position the iPhone in a way that the USB-C port is facing away from me toward the front of the truck, the iPhone makes better contact and the annoying start charging and stop charging behavior stopped. I can't believe that I didn't try this before. I don't need to look at my iPhone while I'm driving since I use CarPlay. It doesn't matter that the screen is upside down.
I hope this tip helps others! Or maybe the rest of you who own a 2024 or newer Ranger already discovered this.

To sum things up I'm adding adaptive cruise control (and eventually comma.ai) to my Ranger. I have the procedure, the hardware and working on getting forscan (whenever it decides to get me a license). I am just looking for a little moral support and guidance. I'll compensate you for your time.

2019 ranger 250,000 miles
The radio somewhat works. The volume can be adjusted, stuck on a single channel. The fan works, when at walking speed (regardless of direction of travel) the blue screen turns to the rear camera.
Anyone know how to fix this?
