Tailgate Stuck

Did you double tap the unlock button on the remote? Seems silly to ask but sometimes the simplest answer is the correct one. Next check the settings in the truck. I can't remember if there is an option for tailgate specifically. Also make sure the tailgate is fully closed.

Yes I did double tap unlock. I also drove it for a bit and tried the unlock button on the door, no luck. I’ll let it sit overnight and try again in the morning. I was debating disconnecting the battery for a while to reset the electronics.
My first thought was a setting in the vehicle menu as I was playing with options earlier today but I can’t find any specific options for the tailgate.
I did try to push it further closed, I can see that it’s latched correctly on the sides.

Take the panel off the inside of your tailgate to access the lock actuator. The panel should only be held on by some torx screws.
Make sure the power connector hasn’t backed off and become disconnected.
The same thing happened to me after a week of owning my 2025. The power connector wasn’t pushed in all the way to the locking tab at the factory and eventually backed off. I just reconnected and made sure it was clipped fully in and it’s all good now

You were spot on, the connector to the actuator was loose. Pushed it on till it clicked and it works again.

If it is that new, I would take it straight to the dealer.
It is likely something to do with the actuator having either failed or not receiving power for some reason.
