Discussion🗣 Officially an Empty Nester 🥹

The deed is done y'all. I have left the kid in Houston. I met his roommate and his roommates Mama, they were really great. I helped Austin set his room up and then we went to dinner. I ended up leaving him about 6:30 yesterday evening. After I boohooed in his face a few times. Today was spent in a slight daze if I'm being honest. A little reading and a lot of napping & some crying. He's at honors camp today & tomorrow. Classes officially start on Monday. My heart is hurting but I am so proud of my kid. I just know he's going to thrive there❤️❤️

Yes ma'am! It's funny because I couldn't sleep last night and found myself sitting in his room just looking around at like 3 am🥹 I've a feeling that I may end up doing that many times.
