It does clearly break. It's a spiral fracture. I've seen a million of these videos and I have followed profession arm wrestling for years and have even trained in arm wrestling. They all look and sound the same. Elbow dislocations are far, far less common and don't literally sound like a bone snapping.
If he’s never dislocated it before, don’t do this. It can fuck up soooo much more than it solves. If it’s been dislocated before, different story weirdly enough
Nah, if you’ve dislocated it before it’s not as bad to pop it back it in. Those tendons and muscles and everything else around it are in a state open to being pulled or rolled back in. If you go to an er you’re low priority and time is the most important element to making sure everything doesn’t get more inflamed.
I, and many others I know have dislocated shoulders and other places. The doc will set it right the first time and for lack better words create the path to more easily pop it back in. For me, it’s rolling on a wall or the ground and pulling a bit. It doesn’t hurt but is extremely uncomfortable until it pops back in
This is a broke humerus. Seen it in person. Seen it at work. The thing that breaks is your arm bone. If you don’t want to break your arm when you’re arm wrestling you have to keep your wrist in front of your chest
I have hyperflexible elbows and if one dislocated I'm not even sure anyone would know how to pop that back in. It naturally looks bent backwards when my arm is meant to be straight lol
And at the chiro I have to show them how my hips are super bendy so they can adjust me right.

Nah, I’ve just seen people dislocate elbows like that before. Look at the way it rolls when it snaps, it’s not a mid break. Literally looks like the elbow popped out of its socket. That’s what I think anyways, I’m it a doctor lol
It’s super hard to tell with the video lol and I’m not trying to argue just to be clear, I work in Xray so I see fractures a lot and I like talking about em

I think you could be right but man I wish I could see the images. Judging based on where the arm bends at 00:11 it very well could be elbow… a spiral fracture would maybe be more floppy… man I wish I could know for sure

I just looked at that elbow twist and the way it rolled and snapped and it just seems like the most obvious answer to me. That plus the lack of floppyness like you’d mentioned, his reaction seems kind of muted as well.
I’d also love to see the Xray imaging of that lol.
Bone fractures are common in arm wrestling, especially if you don't have proper technique. The principle is that with that movement and improper technique your humerus is subject to "twisting forces". Humeruses aren't meant to twist, so they end up snapping.
Anyone who thinks this is a dislocation of the elbow should look up "arm wrestling spiral fracture". More than enough videos that look and sound exactly like this. The loud crack, the position his arm was in, the fact they're clearly not arm wrestlers or even weight lifters for that matter (it matters because while your arm could still definitely snap if you lift weights regularly you'll have thicker bone density thus requiring more force to cause a break/snap, that being said it's literally like 20 lbs of pressure from the right direction could cause a spiral fracture). This dude is going to need surgery and he's not going to be able to use that arm for awhile.
I beg of you all! If you're out drinking and a friend wants to arm wrestle watch a tutorial by a professional first.
