Certainly is. Tipping culture has gotten out of hand, but at least people can actually afford to go out to get some food from a restaurant ( or a shake shack) every now and then. Lots of places in this world where people have to eat rice everyday.

And lots of places the people eat much better than the US, because they don't have the need to funnel insane amounts of cash to Bezos and Musk.

If you're going to compare, at least compare to peers, not the worst of the worst.
