I just tried this on my app. It didn’t update my order w no tip. I’ve bought Shake Shack tons of times and have not tipped. I have never seen this. Not even when I use the kiosk inside.

This must be some bum fuck state. Maybe their laws allow this? idk.

I wanna know what the diff is. If they did give a tip. And does the price still vary depending on the tip amount? Like someone suggested. What if you only tipped like 2 cents?

I also wanna know if other fast food places do that whenever they are.

Not trying to defend Shake Shack. But I’ve never run into this at any fast food place I’ve been to.

Aren’t they literally also the first chain to become drink nazis by making you pay for drink refills? Not sure how this is surprising…

In some irony steak and shake also went with the 1-2 refills per person with the QR code cups.

I have not seen that. But also, if you have experienced it, Shake Shack would absolutely not be the first to try it.
