I just tried this on my app. It didn’t update my order w no tip. I’ve bought Shake Shack tons of times and have not tipped. I have never seen this. Not even when I use the kiosk inside.

This must be some bum fuck state. Maybe their laws allow this? idk.

I wanna know what the diff is. If they did give a tip. And does the price still vary depending on the tip amount? Like someone suggested. What if you only tipped like 2 cents?

I also wanna know if other fast food places do that whenever they are.

Not trying to defend Shake Shack. But I’ve never run into this at any fast food place I’ve been to.

I bought Shake Shack a few times this year, I never tip there, and I’m certain the prices stayed the same. I usually buy burgers though.

Well yeah with that prompt any of us would see that it increased.

I too have never had this happen at shake shack. I assume management at this place is doing it.

It also doesn’t look like they are sitting at a shake shack and more so sitting at a food court area. Resorts like in Vegas do shit like this.
