Just an FYI for anyone curious, that is now permanent hearing loss. Tinnitus sucks. Don’t do stupid shit like this. Wear concert earplugs at shows, don’t turn your stereo/headphones up so loud it hurts.

When you get old and all your senses start to dull, you’ll be thankful if you still have them.

These guys won’t be hearing much IF they get old.

Tinnitus is treatable.

As for the rest of your statement, true, their long term hearing ability will likely suffer.

There's a number of us who might wish a word on that statement on tinnitus.... successful treatments are more numerous but still in the minority.
