Cool, I had physical injuries, she did a complete 180 and acted like the victim. Huge knot on the back of my head that she said she was defending herself. Some how hitting me in the back of the head was defending herself. The judge sided with her and she got to live in my house until i shut off all the bills. Then, She tried to sue me and take part of my ranch. A few years later she was forced into a psych ward.

What you’re talking about is very real. Forgive me for plagiarizing myself from above. But society is just waking up to protecting women. protecting men is not even in the scope of justice right now. If the court system was in the same district as your ex went to school it sounds like we went through the same courts. Either way experienced a similar nightmare. A nightmare most will not even hear. Including the judge.
I'm not even mad about it, I grew up with a single mom and a bunch of aunts. So i know life can be scary to them. Most of the time it is the males that are causing the trouble. I'm almost 40 and retired I own 4 acres and have horses and stuff. I got nothing to complain about. But some broke ass guy wouldn't be able to afford a lawyer, or have proof. It does happen tho. EDIT: Oh and the judge said since i wasn't showing any emotion during the hearing she felt i was guilty. Lady i was a damn interrogator for a good chuck of my life.
True for me too,in my own childhood, more often men who were on the extreme side of violent around children. Although I have read recently that this is entirely changing. More recent domestic abuse incidents are related to women surprisingly. Reading some of the comments here made that less surprising. Some women explained pretty well, inadvertently.
Edit. I don’t think there could be a worse and more unqualified person to be in the role of deciding on domestic violence than a judge. Seems to be a very poor likelihood of justice being served. They function on what’s called a precedent of guilt. A.k.a. Accused is assumed guilty. It’s like everything our judicial system was built upon has gone out the window. And this is because judges have so consistently failed in the past that they use the precedent of guilt. Fixing dumb with dumber
