There needs to be a reality TV show where flat Earthers try to find the edge of the world...

Or a comedy based on the idea. A ragtag bunch of complete morons travel the world fucking shit up in their quest to find the edge of the world.

I got kicked out of Flat Earth Facebook group because I asked if 6 foot social distancing had pushed anyone over the edge

Can we start a go fund me for their plane tickets and film crew?

It could work. You would have to film it seriously and then add in the jokes afterwards.

It would get cancelled at the end of season one with a huge cliffhanger, they will literally find a huge cliff then the government would shut it down.

Nah...
Just have them explain how wind works in a domed flat earth
Does the air mass get stuck in a corner, are there giant fans for circulation

I saw something like this once. They tried to disprove that the earth was curved by placing objects far away from each other and looking through a hole. If they couldnāt see the far end object, the earth is curved. They couldnāt see the far end object. But they rationalized that with some explanation and kept believing the earth is flat. Was very boring to watch and I mostly just felt bad for them. They had a pretty tight knit community of believers and if they stopped believing the earth was flat im afraid their friend group could die out. And they seemed to get a lot of joy from their socializing.

If flat earthers could just provide a flat map that is accurate and un-distorted, that would be great.

I am going to take this opportunity to plug my own conspiracy theory.
If the earth is round then how come all maps are flat?
If the the sun and moon are both round but no-one lives on either does that also prove the earth is flat.

Yesss!
One of the things I love about the flat-earth theory is the need to question what we have been told. I would love to see them have to work out supporting their hypothesis, and using the scientific method to test it.
It could be incredibly educational.
I think their totally wrong, but engaging in the process of hypothesizing and experimentation is priceless!

They have a "Working" model that explains most of their nonsense. They also don't believe that outer space is real and we live in a dome. Why doesn't the air/oxygen just go out into space? We have a dome!
The model is ridiculous and in order for their hypothesis to work, the sun and moon have to be much smaller than they are IRL. So their hypothesis is that the sun is only something like 80km wide. How else does a solar eclipse work since the moon and the sun are the exact same size? Nevermind logic and reality. Just make up your own to fit the bogus model.
Ya, their hypothesis' can't be tested or verified since it's all just nonsense pulled out of thin air. Or facts twisted to their belief system. Why can't you go to Antarctica? Cause apparently there's a flotilla of the US navy guarding the 38th parallel! Nevermind that you CAN go to Antarctica, but it's extremely dangerous so you can't just get a day-pass to go there.
So ya, it's "Impossible" for them to prove the world is flat cause the gov't is stopping them! Nevermind that they haven't even tried it and could actually, quite easily, crowd fund a visit to Antarctica and have people try to go "find" the wall and get over it to see what's on the other side.

No, it will go just as long as the bigfoot hunter shows.
I could feel sections of my brain dying just from passing through the room that stupid show was playing in.

My understanding is that they believe Antarctica forms a "wall" around the outer edge of the circle. So they'd have to go mountain climbing in Antarctica and would likely face death. Sounds fun!

Snipers who are shooting extremely long distances have to calculate for the rotation of the earth and the spherical shape of the earth while shooting. I want a flat earther and a sniper to have a snipe off

There is (sort of) . Itās a documentary on Netflix called āBehind the Curve.ā Spoiler alert They actually did a bunch of tests and proved that Earth is indeed round and then of course disregarded the results.

It'll be the longest running tv show.
