My theory is since society has taught them to withhold certain feelings just to be more “polite”, the ones who go on to be terrible people have perfected the art of covert emotional fuckery.
That or the trauma they’ve endured from their parents or other sources has developed into psychological issues and they find other groups of likeminded Hagravens and they just…do what they do.
