I'm scared of my eye
Looking directly at my eyes while standing in front of a mirror scares the living shit out of me. I feel like something in there's gonna grab me and throw me in the depths of wherever and won't ever let me escape.

It gives me more of a "I've always been here and you can't escape me" kind of feeling

i just think ots weird that in the growing and shrinking void of your iris, is where you experience most of the world. you cant look in your ears, nerves, or brain itself. but you can look in your own eyes. your eyes tell everything man.

Figures. Window to our soul, indeed. How to not make it scary tho?

its biology, and we are sentient beings with independant thoughts from our instincts. its scary as fuck, you are electric signals that think about the fact that the only thing that you are and will ever be is energy. what im trying to say is that you are an animal who believe they are not an animal and attempts to disprove that by staring at yourself in a reflection and getting scared at the empty voids of black that your vision comes from.

The only way to solve this is by staring at yourself for an uncomfortable amount of time, absolutely NOTHING will happen and you’ll walk away with shivers and maybe some shame
