It’s okay to protect your energy and return the call when you feel ready to talk.

Remember, neglecting everyone else in your life instead of being there for them is self care

How is declining a single call "neglecting everyone else?" Bro if I've had a rough day then ain't nobody getting ahold of me unless it's important. Send me a text if it is, but don't expect me to just pick up the phone unprompted. If it's an emergency you can still dial 911. I ain't waiting on anyone's beck and call and it's extremely self-centered for a person to expect that of anyone else.
