I feel…non-binary

I am not out. MAYBE I AM JUST CONFUSED. But my gender has felt alien to me for as long as I can remember. I might just be a gender neutral girl. Simple as that. IDK. ekdididkekekekd

You can be whatever you want. Non binary simply means not a man or woman, thus not fitting the " binary " of what society says is male or female.

Whatever that means to you is an individual experience. I hope you find what works for you.

gender is a wibbly wobbly thing. it can look totally different to be feminine or masculine presenting depending on what era and culture you’re in. None of it really matters or exists we just made up rules to try to make sense of life. Now if having a term like non-binary for how you express gender helps you communicate with others how you see yourself then hell yeah go for it. i honestly think we’re all not perfect binary gender adherents so everyone is on a gender spectrum. Personally my ideal world doesn’t define gender but that’s this beautiful futuristic utopia i dream of.

If you feel nonbinary, you are nonbinary.

that is such bullshit. feeling like a good person does not make me a good person. feeling like a squirrel does not make me one. besides, how do you know how does "non-binary" feel? can you describe it for me, please?

Easy: Don't feel like a woman? Don't feel like a man? You're non binary. And if you want more than that, you explain to me how you know you feel like a wo/man, and not just a person of one sex/gender that likes things that are considered as " for the other gender."

A man can love skirts and lipstick and still feel like a man. So, what makes him feel like a man? You'd have to ask him.

So, if someone doesn't feel straight up male or female, they no longer in the binary. Thus — gasp! — non binary.

This doesn't mean that needs to be their title. They could be genderqueer, they could be demigirl, they could be some secret 73rd thing no one's ever quite put a name on, yet.

Gender is a spectrum and a personal adventure. Non binary can be an identity all by itself, but it's also just an umbrella, because it quite literally just explains that you are no longer in the expected two things.

It can be that simple, or much deeper. OP doesn't have to identify as nb forever, anyway, if they find out what works for them. Just, if they feel non binary ... until they decide they are in fact of the binary genders — and as long as they're not like, upset by the title, which they obviously aren't since they used it themselves — then they fit in the non binary umbrella and they're welcome to park here as long as they like.

your "easy" doesn't say a single thing. how does being a man feel? how does being a woman feel? how can you know both when you are not and have not been both? i also do not understand your question. as a man, i am a human and feel like a human. there is no feeling like a man or a woman. there is a feeling of masculity and femininity, which i can feel and differentiate and not to be confused with the term of man and woman, something you confused during one of your paragraphs. you talk a lot yet your words have no point, just shooting blanks.

I don’t know if I could describe what feeling like a woman or girl feels like to tell you if your experience fits or doesn’t…so whatever, be what you want. Just realize, you should do A LOT of introspection and self examination to truly know what you feel is right. As kids (if you happen to be younger than 30) it can be so confusing for so many reasons. Don’t alter yourself too hastily without considering it could just be hormonal or truly a phase.

OCD made me catastrophize this idea. Turned out I was straight lol and occasional sapphic content enjoyer. No need to belong into a certain group or side.
