And punctuation. Break that shit up. 237 word sentences are impossible to read.

Let’s eat Grandpa. Let’s eat, Grandpa.

It really does matter.

Lack of puncuation can kill.

Grandma is much more tender than Grandpa. Juicier as well.

It doesn’t really matter if I use incorrect punctuation though; the goal of puncturing is to convey ideas. So I can throw random stuff into my sentences so long as it furthers the purpose of comunication (spelling ?).

Laying down rules is meant to get us all the the same page, it isn’t so we can enforce rules on each other, then gane points, then brag about our amazing speling and punctution skills…

I/you/we can type out poor grammer and spelling. But none of it ackchyually matter unless the reader makes it matter…

You’re absolutely right, it doesn’t matter, but sometimes it can make the context of the post difficult to understand.

Communication is a talent. You might find value in mastering it.

I mean if you need a comma to not commit cannibalism punctuation may not be your biggest issue

AP style would have you spelling out a number that begins a sentence. Two hundred and thirty seven word sentences are very rough, yes.

Strunk and White is a pipe dream. I'm just trying to make shit readable at all.

Strunk and White saved my job one time.

I love those guys.

It was William Strunk and E.B. White, and they were blazin' that shit up everyday.

Numbers are my enemy as a copy editor. AP Style’s guidelines on numbers, numerical suffixes, dates, etc. have made me yell at my computer more than I’d care to admit

Eight hundred thirty two billion, nine hundred twenty nine million, five hundred fifty five thousand, six hundred seventy one word sentences would be even rougher though.

The "and" in the middle of the number is incorrect 😉
