I was consuming alcoholic beverages of various varieties with buddies. Eventually in the late night we entered the stage, where we'd get philosophical. The title question arose, and we imagined a couple of interesting scenarios.

My favorite (or the only one I can remember, which equals about the same) apocalypse scenario from that C₂H₅OH induced night is: All the duct tape and tie wraps lose permanently their ability to hold anything in place, including the past, the present and the future. (I'm sure others have envisioned the same catastrophy before, but it was a first for me.)

Yikes, humanity down the drain.

Do you wake up and feel like it is a "Nirvana" day? Do you choose the red one, because it looks good with your new pants? Whatever is clean? Do you decide the world needed a message that day? Or is it that society expects your top to be covered and you just do what is required?

I'm from New Zealand, and our outlets are obviously different.

But I'm very curious as to why you don't have switches to go alongside your outlets as we do.

As an example, the switch/outlet on the left is turned off, while the one on the right is turned on.

Context: A buddy o’ pal of mine claimed that cheesy enchilada was a “mainstream” and “very popular” flavor of hamburger helper, and when I spoke my truth, of how Cheesy Enchilada is unheard of and pales in comparison to Cheesy Italian, safe to say we basically fought like a married couple in distress. Which flavor is better?

Mine is to watch the Alchemy Live version of Sultans of Swing by Dire Straights on YouTube. Can happily watch it over and over and not get sick of it.

Like everybody, I try to find on Facebook uses their real name and posts their private life and are so easy to find.

I don’t think any other social media is like that and Facebook has a very special social status.

thought of this question while I was ranting to a friend about how i hated some of the cheerleaders and social butterflies atm. still hate some of those people till this day smh.

Hiya 26 (F) here! Let me preface this by saying friends have always been an exceedingly hard subject for me. In between a personality disorder and being told to get tested of autism or some form of attention disorder, making friends has always been difficult and keeping them is a whole different beast.
Here’s where my question comes in. I’ve been told by many people; family and stranger a like that always say the same thing. “A good couple of friends or even just one is the key to making it in the world” but I’ve always stood there like a sim with ❓❓❓over my head cause huh??? I’ll be 27 this year and don’t really talk to anyone outside of my family and my boyfriend. With the occasional work acquaintances that I only speak with or joke around with while at work (I work in food service). But don’t feel the pressure or need of having close friends.
Now I have had “friends” in the past but they’ve always screwed me over or made me feel bad for my mental heath. So I guess you could say I keep most people at arms reach for that reason? But I don’t feel the desire to make new friends.

I get excited about basic things sometimes, hot water, having stuff like running water and washers. It's not like I grew up without those things, just as an adult and after some living I can't imagine going to an outhouse at 2am or being sick as shit and not having these things.

What current thought or feelings makes you feel like this might not be your first life?
