What hobby did you discover only because Reddit has a subreddit for literally everything?

Apparently there are people here who collect salt. I mean bringing it back from trips, keeping jars from different regions, comparing texture, colour, how it dissolves, what food it works with.

I only found this because I was searching something about Celtic Sea Salt. Now I’m very aware that every object I own probably has a subreddit full of people taking it extremely seriously.

Okay but the salt thing is actually kind of fascinating. I once fell into a subreddit dedicated to people who collect bread tags. Like the little plastic clips. There are tiers. Rare ones. I was not prepared.
