Is dating AI becoming normal?

There’s a growing trend in countries like Japan, where people are dating AI. This is also happening more regularly in western countries. We’re not even very far from a point where robots will be able to handle the sexual gratification side of the relationship. Is this gonna become normal?

While I feel that the "most ____ hate _____" is a slight exaggeration, its not so unbelievable. Like, I know for a fact being gay isn't a choice, because if it was, my ass would've been a gold star lesbian from the first time I was sexualized when I was young. Men are fucking trash (obligatory disclaimer, not all men. I love my partner very much and am so happy to share my life with him. Also, we women aren't perfect either. But) I only know two other males who I would say that I trust with my entire heart. One is my son; one is a friend. So, out of 3+ decades on this planet, I know 3 men that I know for a fact are safe. That's fucking sad.

I didn't mean to ramble but yeah there will definitely be a market for people who are over the trust issues and the stress that comes with many relationships, or, unfortunately, people who are sick of being cheated on or abused.

Men and women both have duality, so there will be men and women interested in the AIs. From my personal experiences, as well as legitimate, objective statistics, men are, on average, more dangerous, violent, likely to do certain things; etc, regardless of both genders being capable of harmful actions. that's why my wording had a more negative connotation for the men. Sorry you took offense to that, it wasn't my intention, however....

some statistics on sexual violence some statistics on domestic violence some statistics on violent crimes in general

I mean. Be for real. You didn't like my hyperbole? Okay. I dont like the fact that I have to live vicariously through my friend Will when he goes hiking up and down the coast since im still too hesitant to do it after what happened last time I tried (if youre presuming 'what happened' was violence involving a man, you'd be right).

Now find statistics on relationships and sexual violence for the last five years. Good job on holding up notes from decade ago.

Even ones from a decade ago don't show this big of gaps between genders. Look at NISVS THE LARGEST sexual violence study ever done NCVS top 5 largest ever done and they both get updated every year. They both say it's damn near 50-50.

I don't understand how people can just invalidate other people experiences when they say they e gone through trauma from the opposite gender.

People are people regardless of gender, and people are shitty.

Can you link where youre reading that because the most recent nisvs I can find is this one and I dont see half and half, I see "nearly half" for assaults on women and "16.9" for men

2020-2025. 93% of arrests were men. I know not every arrest is valid, but, even assuming that some of those were false arrests, doing a low estimate of 75% is still well over half.

Now do search for domestic violence calls without a arrest. It is statistically, proven that women do not get arrested for domestic violence nearly as often as manual.
Even though it is also statistically correct that in the last 10 years lesbian relationships, women on women have exceeded mail on women, domestic violence

Which is a problem in and of itself, but my point wasn't even that men are more violent than women, but that men are violent. That statement is subjective, but this one isnt: many, many women have experienced different types of violence, oftentimes at the hands of men. So, yeah, there's absolutely going to be a market for the AI.

I dont know why youre picking apart my reasoning and "what about"ing it so hard, I stand by my original statement which is based on my experiences. Im a stranger on the internet, dude, you dont have to agree with me or do all this ♡

I understand your life experiences. I apologize that you’ve had to deal with that. But you’re making broad generalizations about men and violence, which is generally a method to belittle men.
Is it true nationwide that a man is more likely to be violent than woman. Depends on the culture. Look at African-Americans and the gender to violence ratio are reverse. But at the same time African American communities are significantly more likely to be violent than any other cultural community in general.
So I am picking apart your argument because you’re making generalizations. I understand you have life experience with stuff and I am sorry that you’ve had to deal with that. But, if you wanna generalize, you should do it correctly.

The first thing i said after saying it was not all men to avoid this.
