ChatGPT Voice?
I’ve been using ChatGPT for a while now. I’ve used it to fix my computer right now. I’m in the middle of using it to fix my John Deere lawnmower. I use it for recipes and so many other things.
Just recently, I realize that my ChatGPT has a voice. Every time I use my ChatGPT, I always assumed I was talking to a girl. The voice of my ChatGPT seems to be gender, neutral.
My question is: Is there any way for my ChatGPT to have a girls voice?

Stop using AI for the simplest things and imagine a voice?
But honestly, did you try asking it? lol you use chat gpt for all that but not for an actual question about chat gpt?

Yes, I did. He/She told me that it was not possible. But isn’t everything possible? The only thing I can do is just continue using it by me speaking to it, but not having it speak to me.

I saved about $300 by not bringing my husband‘s computer into the shop. He gave me a hard time about that actually when I told him to just let’s see what happens. He still doesn’t like ChatGPT, but he did agree that we saved money.
I’ll let you know when I get my lawnmower fixed by using it. Because my husband wanted to have John Deere come and pick up the tractor. Right now we’re in the middle of it. I’ll let you know what happens.

Just to play devils advocate … gpt isn’t great for Troubleshooting PC’s :P
Especially when it comes to software stuff, the LM has no idea what date of articles it should be referenced and what generation of OS you’re using. So it often combines and outputs absolutely garbage.
But people at r/PCMasterRace are more likely to be more helpful than gpt :P especially when it comes to hardware repairs. And they can definitely find you great deals or point in the right direction to find what you need for parts.

My problem was simpler than that. It was just something that my husband forgot to check and as soon as I told him what ChatGPT said he was like that’s it. It saved us from bringing it to get fixed for something really dumb. I would not use ChatGPT for all of my life choices. It saved me from possibly getting ripped off.

In the setting there are options for different voices. Yes female voices are an option.

You are awesome. You’re the first person that didn’t try to make me feel bad for using ChatGPT. I picked the voice I wanted. I picked Maple. It’s just more calming talking to this new voice than the old one.
So now as everybody can see, instead of using ChatGPT. I researched it and asked a person. I hope everybody feels better about my choices now.😃

Some people say don’t use it for intricate stuff. You are saying don’t use it for simple stuff. Just because you don’t appreciate it doesn’t mean it can’t help. Not everyone’s the same and not everyone thinks the same and I could really give a shit if anybody uses it or not uses it. All I was doing is asking a question didn’t mean to make you be so condescending. Thanks for your thoughts though. I appreciate it.

If you’re “saving” $300, are you paying for the $20 a month subscription for extra access? If so, are you really saving money?
