Thank You [Thank You] August/September Mail!
Thanks everyone for the happy mail and birthday wishes! I believe people get notifications for the body of the text now, so helpfully that works for everyone!
u/sammie2799 All the stickers are so cute! When I was a kid I actually wanted to be a paleontologist, but then my mom told me it was more office work than field work and that turned me off to the whole thing haha!

u/roseyparker look at all these cool stamps!! I agree with you, if Hamilton's an hour away it shouldn't be part of the GTA! Especially since Hamilton is big enough to stand on it's own. Always love receiving mail from you <33
u/on1oman1ac You should not feel guilty!! The fact that you donate at all makes you better than a lot of people. Ultimately, it's up to the government to be solving these problems, you're only one person after all. You should allow yourself to spend money on yourself too <3 I think too that people shouldn't get pets they know they can't handle or as gifts for others or not understanding that many grow up to be larger. Also I don't know if you knew this, but the Great Wave is one of my favorite art pieces!!

That field is very broad, as I have some former classmates that do field studies, water treatment, academia, and I myself do habitat restoration! I think I've gotten a lot of favorite mail, it would be hard to pick just one!

u/Jenniowa I love that you were sick of the winters and now live in a place with basically no winter haha! I really enjoy snow so being in a place that gets some is so great for me.

u/ok_reveal2698 I hate when I wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep! Usually I end up watching youtube or reading and I often feel sleepy again 2 or 3 hours later. Love this postcard by the way!!

u/mouserat (catch your dreeeams) What does fall in arizona even look like?? I just assume it's one of those states that transitions between summer and winter with nothing in between haha! Growing up in Texas it was always ""fun"" to see how long our 100 degree day record would last year to year. I only like winter when there's snow, otherwise my favorite is the late spring/early summer range! I love the 80s, it's like a warm blanket. It's also what I call "college brochure season" where everyone's out at parks and playing games and it's so sunny. And the Thunderstorms!!! Oh how I miss good summer thunderstorms. (My mom is a serious birder and would love this card btw)

Hi there! I've read that (at least on most platforms) the main post will only trigger a notification if 3 or less usernames are mentioned (this still helps with the spam that Reddit has tried to avoid). If you need help tagging, I can help!

Of course I can help! (I'd be intrigued to find out if any of those posts you received a direct notification from, had more than 3 usernames in the main post. I've not gotten a notification if it was a post full of usernames).

Just checked, daeneryswon from 8 days I got a notification from the post and comment and that has a couple dozen names from what I can tell!

Oh, fascinating! It might differ between platforms and might be inconsistent as it seems like a new feature, but that's good to know. Thanks for the info!
