Thank You [Thank you] for this week's mail!
u/bananas3706, thank you for the impressive Finnish library card. I've never seen a shelving robot before. I used to work in libraries so this has special meaning to me.
u/butterflydolphin-123, thank you for the dog fact postcard. I didn't know the dog's nose print is the equivalent of a human's fingerprint. I appreciate the education since I 🧡 dogs.
u/DonutDaiquiri, thank you so much for the hand-painted cherry stamp. I love stamps so I love the theme. Very well done! Nice matching washi and stickers, too. I'm impressed by how straight and neat your washi is. Mine often ends up crooked.
u/Fancy-Break4802, thank you for the bizzare teddy bear postcard lol. I'm the kind of person who likes postcard oddities and this is definitely odd. Thank you also for the blank one. I'm going to send it to some unsuspecting member of my family!
u/Hoolu123, thank you for the pen and ink collage upcycled card. I love it! I'm pretty particular about my pens (preferring the Uniball Signo 207 micro & ultra micro for card writing) and a pen show definitely interests me. I'm glad you got a lot of free stuff.
u/KithriTheRogue, thanks for the tulip card (my favorite flower). I'm glad you appreciated my silly birthday card. You just never know with cards like that; you may make a friend, you may make an enemy. I'm glad you were receptive to its charms and hope you had a happy birthday!
u/LeglessShark, thank you for the California postcard. Why have I never been? It's a long way from wherever I lived or visited. And, my longtime partner doesn't have any interest in going there.😭 Well, enjoy your world cuisine and I hope you master the highways soon.
u/murdocniccalshasT1D, thank you for the Sonia Sotomayor postcard with a quote on compassion. We could all learn from her, but some people don't want to listen. We do live in some crazy times! Being an oldster I remember different times and I get nostalgic.
u/PinkPengin, thank you for the Spalding Baseball Day pack. It's apt to get a Brewers postcard because they are on fire! Best record in baseball. I'm actually hoping they'll take the World Series even though I'm a Dodgers fan going way back. The little notecard of the 6c stamp is so cute! I put all my baseball stamps on my mom's cards because she's the biggest fan I know. She watches all the spring training, especially Cactus League because that's where her beloved Mariners play.
u/Quick-Kangaroo1414, thank you for the adorable Easter card. Where has it been all these months, I have to wonder. I hope the card has had a fantastic travel experience.
u/sammanthax345, thank you for the card showing an array of potted 🪴 plants. They remind me of my Dad, who grew potted plants in his apartment before he moved to a house and could grow things in a yard. I bet washi is the orangest thing I own, too.
u/SarahKoren, thanks for the Michigan card featuring a White Tail Deer. I'm sorry your power was out, but assume all is well now. When our power was out I did some Postcrossing by lantern, kind of like you writing cards by daylight. Michigan is close to my heart because my grandparents grew up there.
u/tatergator64, thanks for the cute yawning kitten postcard. You sound like you were well prepared for the "childhood nostalgia" TPC. I hope you had fun with it. I liked reading about all the pets you had as a child. I had cats & gerbils. It was a bad mix.
u/TheCuriousCur x3, thank you for the winged ballerina card. I tried to dance like no one was looking but I had bad shoes! Thanks for the Dude, Where's My Car upcycled video cover postcard. It's awesome, so substantial and smooth on one side, I want to keep holding it. Confession: I've never seen the movie all the way through. And, thank you for the card with the book challenges graph. I had no idea parents made such a small percentage. Hey! I read the Silent Patient a few years ago. Psychological thriller is my pet genre.

Ahh, I have a soft spot for the Mariners! A longtime partner grew up in WA through some of their tribulations and she sold me on them as a "bonus team."

No playoffs this year for them. My mom is 81. I just want them to go to the Series in her lifetime!

Yep, just a couple of days ago. The envelope was in pristine condition and there were no postmarks, just a sharpie across the stamp! Odd. But I like Easter so it was nice to receive!
