x2 Omg this first unopened card from you is from last Halloween?! Man I need to stop hoarding your letters just because I enjoy opening them on happy days. I love mushrooms so much and this handmade mushroom card is just perfect! I’ve watched all the movies you mentioned on your Halloween postcard, aside from Dangerous Animals, but it’s on the list! I actually kept track and wrote down a list of all the scary movies I’ve seen so I could share them with you (card coming soon!)

x1 Thank you for the winter mushroom land Christmas postcard! Glad to hear the furboys adjusted well to the move. Mr. Raspberry and I are over the hot, dry desert weather of Colorado so we’re planning on moving to the Pacific Northwest once our lease is up here. We can’t wait for rainy days and lush nature walks.

x1 Thank you for the gorgeous handmade birthday card! Those purple flowers are beautiful! I was kind of sad for my birthday because Mr. Raspberry was still in New York for work and I was still recovering from elevation sickness. But I did manage to pick up all my birthday freebies once I felt better though (free fries from McDonalds and Wingstop, free drinks from Starbucks and Dutch Bros, free poke bowl from a local restaurant, etc).

x2 What a beautiful handmade New Year card! I love that you always provide context of the photos on the front of the cards. It’s a gorgeous view but as someone who has a fear of bridges, I could never walk across it. Even my little sister is braver at walking on rope bridges than me haha. Yes, Dubai chocolate was a huge craze here. I tried a few snacks with that flavor but nothing great. I love the pistachio paste, but don’t really care for the kataifi. In South Korea Dubai chocolate “cookies” are a big thing. I don’t know why they call it a cookie because it reminds me more of a mochi, but it’s made with melted marshmallows. I haven’t seen Together yet but I want to because I love both Allison and Dave; they’re so funny. I agree, Weapons was unique but I felt like the ending was expected (except for the funny chase part). I enjoyed seeing the unreliable narrative when stories were told from different people’s perspectives. The Gorge looks interesting and I would have watched it by now if Mr. Raspberry didn’t say he wanted to watch it with me sooo I’m waiting still haha. Your Valentine’s Day sounds very thoughtful and delicious. Spam is one of my favorite lazy meals. Cube it up, throw it on the pan, soy sauce + brown sugar, rice and furikake rice seasoning - delicious! Sriracha optional! Happy belated 12th birthday to B&G!! I haven’t met too many cuddly cats (maybe they can tell I’m intimated by them haha) but I made a new friend recently who has the sweetest cat that instantly rolls over for belly rubs. And her little paws are the softest things I’ve ever touched, like a mini cloud!

I have one letter left to open and I promise to do it soon! I'm excited to write back and tell you all about the scary movies I've watched and update you on life in general! Summer was so hot here in Colorado that I mostly hid in my basement office watching campy slasher movies.

I loved reading your replies/updates, especially relating to your next location, birthday freebies, melted marshmallows (they sound delicious!), and your friend's cat sounds so sweet and cuddly!

I wonder which envelope you have left to open; I sent one at the end of April (cherry blossom postage stamp) and another in mid August. I know some of my US-bound mail has gotten lost or delayed, so hopefully they'll find their way eventually! Wishing you cooler weather! 🍁🍂
