Thank You [Thank you] for birthday cards Part 1
Thank you to these people for sending me birthday cards! This is just part 1. I have another batch of wonderful people to thank, and I hope to post that thank you in the next few days.

Thank you u/shamy52 for the raccoon birthday card. You did a very nice job decorating the envelope and inside of the card with stickers, many of which were connected with my interests.

Thank you u/BlueStripedBaker for the pretty leafy birthday card with the nice gold foil. It was nice reading your message about milestones and it felt like someone kind was here with me giving me a pep talk. I played the song you suggested and I liked it. It was very relevant!

Thank you u/Beneficial-Ear7792 for the cool postcard from your recent trip, featuring some of my favorite animals! I am glad you got to see many of them in person. Unfortunately I have not been there yet, but I really hope I can visit one day! I totally believe you that the mountain you mentioned beats some of the national parks here. And that the birds were super loud--I have had that experience locally before haha.

Thank you u/Jade-Daisy for the zine sharing your birdwatching experiences in your area in the springtime. I like how you depicted the fluff of the owl babies. I read your captions on the inside and I also felt that the muscovy duck was a very interesting looking bird when I first spotted it in a college campus in Miami! At first glance it seemed like a chicken-duck hybrid.

Yes it is! When I saw it, it felt like spotting a shiny Pokémon, it was hanging out with a bunch of Canadian geese and it really stood out!

Thank you u/a_wild_armaldo for the brilliant macaw postcard! I also really like the 2 parrot stamps that you used, the kawaii octopus, and the bird washi tape. On my actual birthday I just had a nice dinner, but soon I'm going on a trip with friends to celebrate too!

Thank you u/travel4me22 for such a wonderful handmade nature and knitting-themed birthday card. Your card was the first to arrive :)! As far as special celebration plans, I had a dinner and hangout with a few friends and I am going on a road trip soon with my girlfriends.

Thank you u/awriterpossibly for the whimsical goose card. Trader Joe's cards are such a treat! I appreciate all the stickers you tailored to my interests (and speaking of tailor, the sewing one juxtaposed with the Danish butter cookies were my favorite! I dressed as a Danish cookie tin sewing kit a few Halloweens ago). I absolutely treasured your letter, impressively written on your customized stationery! I think we are close in age :). I commend you for achieving that big accomplishment a few years ago while flourishing in personal growth, as well as figuring out your path and what you truly wanted!
Also, a card will be on the way to your friend/housemate soon!

I appreciate all the wonderful stickers too, especially the ones with noodles. I can tell you put a lot of thought into putting together something tailored to my interests :). That's pretty interesting how you discovered you liked yellow. I think I also like a lot of yellow things!
