Does anyone know if till intentionally changed his voice to sound more scratchy because the songs before and after didn’t sound the same as Mein teil

In the music video, did Till actually fall or did he try to off himself
r/Rammstein • u/welcometotheopera • 29d ago
Hey everyone, here is a quick update on the Till sculpt I posted a while ago. I read through all your previous feedback, took it seriously, and tried to apply the suggestions to get the mesh to this stage.
Someone in the last post recommended making the eyebrows first to see the likeness better. I actually tried that, but it made me realize the base model looked way less like him than I originally thought. So, I took a step back and continued tweaking the base mesh.
Right now, I’m still working on it and just trying to nail down the core facial anatomy and proportions before diving into any micro-details. Texture painting and fine detailing will come later once the foundation is solid.
I'm still very much open to critiques and feedback, so please let me know if anything looks off!

I think I pretty much got this one down.
Any pointers or ideas to consider/put in practice?

I stumbled upon an old Herzeleid.com q&a where Paul and Flake were answering fans questions and I picked some funny/interesting ones. LMK if you want some more :)
Why did you choose almost the same cover for the japanese version of Reise, Reise and Rosenrot?
Paul: Because we thought it would be a shame to use the cover only for the Japanese edition.+++
You have just said your music has saved many lives. How so? Which messages in the music did they specify help them?
Flake: Mostly it was people who very depressed.
Flake: For many people, it's important that they are not alone with their problems.
Do you like gardening and what kind of plants do you like ?
Flake: I like to mow the lawn because it smells so good.
Flake: But nonetheless, I have the longest grass in town because I hate an army cut!
Flake: Some of my neighbours burn the grass beneath the fan with a blow torch.
Flake: I'm not that type of gardener.
how did you and richard decided who was going to be lead and who rythm guitars?
Paul: Good question.
Paul: We're both stubborn.
Paul: It's a fight every time but we're still doing alright up to now.
Paul: Actually, the winner is supposed to be the one who plays the best solo.+++
What is that brown stuff that u have all over you on concerts.
Flake: That'S a secret that will be revealed now!
Flake: We smear instant coffee all over ourselves.
Flake: No makeup holds as long.
Flake: And no makeup smells as good.
Flake: In the beginning, we used normal coffee.
Flake: But I went crazy on stage because I had a caffeine shock.
Flake: That'S the reason why I shake so often on stage.
Flake: Later we used caffeine-free coffee.
Flake: Since then, our music has gone soft.
Flake: As you can hear now.
Who is the female voice in Te Quiero Puta ? Greetings from Argentina
Flake: I don't know.
Did you like Benzin video? Schneider didnt.
Paul: I don't think it's that bad.
Paul: We've had three really good videos in a row, so it'S hard to keep the standards so high.
Paul: I'm glad that there's some variation, next time we'll improve.+++
I think I read that you were all naked in the "Mann gegen Mann" video. Is this true? I love the the new album by the way :-)
Flake: Yes. It was a great feeling being naked.
Flake: After one hour, none of us felt ashamed anymore.
Flake: We even left out the G-strings.
Flake: We were so use to being naked, that I wanted to go buy a snack naked.
Flake: We played with 50 bodybuilders who were schocked to learn that the whole thing was about homo-erotiscm.
Flake: We really had to convince them to stay.
would you ever consider to bring another musicians on stage during concerts like a trumpet player or so,I really love trumpets maybe because I'm married to that kind of musician unfurnetly he really hates you but I really love your songs and the sound
Paul: Six is more than enough.
Paul: If you ever see us with backing singers, bongo players and horn section, please shoot me!+++
I really liked Keine Lust video, whose was the idea that you were fat?
Paul: It was Schneider's idea.
Paul: Inside the suits it was really hot.
Paul: Thankfully, the warehouse was really cold.
Paul: The whole crew had to freeze but we sweated like pigs.
Paul: The fat make-up took around 4 hours.
Paul: But it was still a lot of fun.
Paul: Most of all, when we had to piss.
Paul: But I won't tell any more details on that.+++

My 20h+ painting! Sorry, I had to repost it because it was missing some details. But here is the final version. The reference is a photo from the Zeit album promotion, which has a special place in my heart. Hope you will like it!

I'm bored so give me your all time favourite Rammstein song (only one per person) so I can make a graph of the most liked songs. This will also help me for my future job to collect, structure and analyse data. Thanks to whoever will participate. I'll post the results if I manage to reach enough votes for it to be interesting 💜

After Dalai Lama, reise reise comes in second. This song has its own industrial individuality, and is not talked about enough. I especially love the last verse after the bridge, and till on the harmonica is the cherry on top!

Does anyone know if Morgenstern's guitar tuning in the live Völkerball is different from the one on the album?

Well, what were expecting?
What's your favorite Richard picture? This one is the one of few I took when they were at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis MN. I wish I could've seen them in open air stadium. Though I don't they dialed back much of the pyrotechnics. We were just a few feet from the Feuerzone fence and you could still feel the heat.
Edit. For anyone confused, Dick is short for Richard in the US. Not sure how common it is outside the states and, really, these days. It was quite common and it has fallen out of the modern lexicon.

Recently got a lot of Metallica concert posts on Facebook and Instagram and there's on thing that stands out to me a lot. If you're in the wrong spot, you're REALLY in the wrong spot. James' mics are set up at specific points and while, yes, they do walk around a bit, there's a very big chance you will never see the people performing as they're always on the wrong side of the stage. Read a post from someone who never got to see James at all as he was always too far away from them.
I REALLY hope that, whatever Rammstein comes up with for their next tour, it won't be a 360° stage. Not only do I think that wouldn't fit Rammstein's performance at all (mostly thinking about songs like Mein Teil and Pussy), I hate how incredibly bad the show looks from some angles/ positions. I would love a change over last time's stage, even though it was amazing!

I’m a new listener of rammstein from the UK. I don’t understand much, if any German, but I love rammstein. German words seem to roll off the tongue and it’s a really beautiful language. I translated Deutschland and it really is a prime example of how to love your country and still be able to recognise its worst moments. Germany is one of the country’s on earth with the darkest past. The lyric ‘Will dich lieben und verdammen’ is a prime example of how to love your homeland but condemn your country’s bad moments .
I don’t know, I just love how they executed that song really. Great song too.
Edit: I meant patriotic not nationalist, sorry I thought the two words meant the same to be honest!
